Becker: (breathless and panicked) Mom, you have to come quick! There's something really wrong! Mom: Becker, calm down. What's going on? Becker: (voice trembling) I-I was walking home from school and I saw... I saw a man following me. He kept getting closer and I ran but he wouldn't stop. Mom: Oh my god, are you okay? Did you call the police? Becker: (voice shaking) No, no, I didn't have time. I just ran home as fast as I could. What if he's still out there? Mom: (urgently) Okay, stay with me, Becker. We'll call the police right now and they'll make sure you're safe. Just breathe, okay? Becker: (tearful) I'm scared, mom. What if he comes back? Mom: (comforting) I won't let anything happen to you, I promise. Just stay with me and we'll get through this together. I love you, Becker. You're safe now.
