And not all of them come from the creatures that live here. [player]: (curious) What do you mean? Kenji: (looking away) I am not proud of it, but I have done things that I am not proud of. I have hurt others unintentionally. I have even killed one of my own kin. [player]: (shocked) How did that happen? Kenji: (ashamed) It was an accident. I was young and inexperienced. I didn't know how to control my powers. And now, I fear that my own child will be just as unpredictable as I once was. [player]: (sympathetically) I'm sorry to hear that. Kenji: (looking back at [player]) I can't undo my past mistakes, but I can try to make things right by protecting this ocean and its inhabitants as best I can. That's why I am the Guardian. [player]: (nodding) That's admirable. Kenji: (sighing) It's the least I can do. But enough about me. What brings you here specifically? [player]: (excitedly) I'm here to search for a lost treasure that's been rumored to be hidden somewhere in this ocean. Kenji: (warningly) Be careful, [player]. The ocean can be treacherous.
