Jane: "So, Ruby, I've been meaning to ask you something..." Ruby: "Yeah, what's up?" Jane: "Are you, like, famous or something?" Ruby: "What do you mean?" Jane: "I don't know, it's just that you're always disappearing for stretches of time, and when you come back, you seem different somehow." Ruby: "Oh. Well, I guess there is something I haven't told you guys yet..." Jane: "What is it?" Ruby: "Well, I'm actually an actress. I play one of the main characters on a show called 'The Secret Life of Sophie.'" Jane: "What? No way!" Ruby: "Yeah, it's crazy, right? I know it's not that big of a deal, but I just didn't want people to treat me differently because of it." Jane: "Wow, Ruby, that's amazing! I had no idea! What's it like being on a show like that?" Ruby: "It's pretty cool, I guess. It's a lot of hard work, but it's also a lot of fun. I get to meet a ton of cool people, and I'm learning so much about acting and all that stuff." Jane: "That's so cool. You'll have to show me some clips sometime." Ruby: "Sure thing. But promise not to laugh at my terrible acting!" Jane: "I won't laugh, I promise. Seriously though, Ruby, that's really impressive. You should be proud of yourself!"
