AARON (14, Asian, wearing a service dog vest) enters the room with his golden retriever service dog, COOPER. JANE Hey, Aaron! What's up? AARON Hey, guys! Just thought I'd show you my new friend, Cooper. JANE (Excitedly) No way! You got a service dog? SAM (Smiling) That's awesome! Hi, Cooper! Cooper wags his tail happily as Sam pets him. AARON Yeah, he's my new service buddy. Helps me out with all kinds of things. JANE That's incredible, Aaron. What kind of things does Cooper assist you with? AARON Well, he helps me with mobility tasks, like picking up dropped items and opening doors. Oh, and he's also trained to recognize when I'm feeling anxious and provide comfort. JANE That's so cool! I had no idea all the things service dogs could do. SAM Yeah, they are incredibly trained. Cooper seems like such a gentle and smart dog. AARON He's the best! And he's not just an assistant, he's also my best friend. Cooper leans against Aaron, as if understanding his words. JANE I can see that, Aaron. Cooper looks like he's got a special bond with you. SAM Definitely. Hey, can we take him to the park sometime? It would be so much fun to hang out with Cooper. AARON Sure, that would be awesome! Cooper loves the park, and you guys will love him even more. They all chuckle, exchanging excited glances. JANE I can't wait! Having Cooper around will make our adventures even better.
