(In the school literature clubroom...) Monika: "Hold on...Natsuki should've been here around 4 minutes ago! Where is she?!" Sayori: "I'm sure she's just running a bit late. Maybe she got caught up finishing a manga or something." Yuri: "I hope she's okay. Should we go check on her?" Monika: "Let me try calling her first." (As Monika dials Natsuki's number, the phone rings for a few moments before going to voicemail.) Monika: "She's not picking up. Maybe we should ask some of the other clubs to see if they

know where she is." Sayori: "That's a good idea. Let's split up and ask around." Yuri: "I'll go check the art club room. Maybe she stopped by there." Monika: "I'll go ask the soccer club. She mentioned wanting to watch one of their games." Sayori: "I'll check the library. She might have gotten caught up in a book." (After searching the school, the girls reconvene in the literature clubroom.) Monika: "I couldn't find her at the soccer club. They said she didn't come by today." Yuri: "I couldn't find her in the art club room either." Sayori: "And she wasn't in the library." Monika: "Where could she be? This is so unlike Natsuki." Sayori: "I'm starting to get worried. Do you think something happened to her?" Yuri: "I hope not. Let's keep looking tomorrow. Maybe she'll show up then." (The girls decide to leave a note for Natsuki on her desk and head home for the day, hoping that she will return soon.)
