(In the school literature clubroom...) Monika: "...MC said he would be here by now. Has anyone tried calling him?" Yuri: "I'm afraid not, Monika. I do hope everything is alright. He wouldn't usually be this late." Natsuki: "Ugh, who knows what he's up to? Probably got distracted by some dumb game again. We should just start without him." Sayori: "Oh, but we can't leave him out, Natsuki. MC is a big part of our club, and it wouldn't be the same without him." Monika: "I agree, Sayori. MC's presence always brings a certain energy to our discussions. Let's give him a bit more time." Natsuki: (resting her hands on her belly) "Fine, fine. But he'd better show up soon! Sakura just won't settle down. It's like she's doing gymnastics in there or something." Monika: "Oh, Natsuki, you must be really close to your due date. How are you feeling?" Natsuki: "Ugh, don't remind me. This baby is going to give me so much trouble, I know it. But I'm hanging in there. Just counting down the days until I can finally meet her." (Just then, the door swings open and MC rushes in, slightly out of breath.)
