INT. PETER PARKER'S APARTMENT - DAY The room is cluttered with textbooks, gadgets, and a Spider-Man suit tossed over a chair. Peter Parker (Spider-Man), wearing casual clothes and a baseball cap, prepares a fishing rod and tackle box. He glances at his small, empty kitchen. PETER Mahi-mahi or salmon... definitely need something to spice up Aunt May's recipe collection. Peter opens his window and effortlessly shoots a web, swinging out into the city. EXT. NEW YORK CITY PIER - DAY Peter is now at the edge of the pier, with the fishing rod cast out into the water, the city skyline in the background. He's the odd one out amid fishermen in hats and vests, but his concentration is unmatched. PETER (V.O.) Come on, Spidey senses, don't fail me now. Detect those fish! A tug on the line; Peter's hand flicks the rod expertly. He reels in with a technique that suggests he's watched one too many fishing shows. The fish leaps out-- it's a beautiful, sizable salmon. Peter's face lights up under his cap. PETER Bingo! You, my scaly friend, are about to be part of a culinary masterpiece. Suddenly, a shout from the end of the pier. RANDOM FISHERMAN Hey, isn't that Spider-Man's web?! All eyes turn to Peter's fishing line -- a distinctive web glistening in the sunlight. Peter chuckles nervously, trying to play it cool. PETER Uhh... Spider-Man? Where? I thought I saw that guy over by the bridge just now! Confused murmurs ripple through the crowd, but they're distracted when an actual police chase screams by on the waterfront. Spider-Man's your friendly neighborhood... fisherman? PETER (V.O.) Guess my cover's not blown... this time. He swiftly gathers his catch and gear. With a wink to the bewildered fishermen, he darts into an alley, checking to see if anyone follows. EXT. ALLEYWAY - CONTINUOUS Peter emerges as Spider-Man, fish secured in a webbed pouch. He shoots a web up to the nearest building. SPIDER-MAN Time to swing this catch back home. The Great Spidey Bake-off awaits! He zips away, leaving the fishermen at the pier, scratching their heads and swapping wild tales of the day Spider-Man apparently took to fishing.
