[there would be dialogue in this story:] (It was just another day for Megumin. She decided to visit her friends and see what was going on. Her crusader friend - Darkness - was 8 months pregnant with quintuplets; all 5 of which had were hybrids of human and different types of dragonborn - the biggest one had red dragonborn heritage and a fiery personality, the most active one had blue dragonborn heritage and an electric personality, the least active one had green dragonborn heritage and a poisonous personality, the smallest one had white dragonborn heritage and an icy personality, and the one that was in the middle of both size and activeness had black dragonborn heritage and an acidic personality. Surprisingly, each of the quintuplets were telepathic - and were able to communicate not only with themselves, but also with those outside the womb.)

Megumin knocked on Darkness's door and waited patiently for her to answer. When the door finally creaked open, Darkness greeted her with a tired smile. "Hey Megumin, come on in," Darkness said, rubbing her swollen belly. "I could use some company today." Megumin entered the house and followed Darkness into the living room. As they settled down on the couch, Megumin couldn't help but stare at her friend's belly in awe. "They're certainly making their presence known, aren't they?" Megumin commented, lightly poking at the bulge. Darkness chuckled and winced at the same time. "Oh, you have no idea. They've been kicking up a storm lately. I can hardly keep up with their antics." Curiosity piqued, Megumin leaned closer. "So, tell me, what's it like having quintuplets? Especially with all those different dragonborn traits?" Darkness sighed and adjusted herself on the couch. "It's definitely been a challenge. Each of them has their own unique personality, and it often feels like I'm carrying a whole party in there. The fiery one seems to be the most rambunctious, always causing a ruckus. The electric one is constantly buzzing around, making me feel like I'm on edge all the time. The poisonous one is the most quiet but loves to play pranks on me with their little kicks. The icy one is the most reserved, often calming the others down. And the acidic one, well, let's just say I've started drinking a lot of milk to counteract their effect." Megumin chuckled, imagining the chaos within Darkness's womb. "It sounds like they already have distinct personalities. Do you think it's because they're telepathic?" Darkness nodded. "I believe so. They can communicate not only with each other but also with me and anyone outside. It's been a bit overwhelming, to be honest. Sometimes, I feel like they're having a little party of their own in there." Just then, Megumin felt a faint stirring against her hand, resting on Darkness's belly. She looked at Darkness, wide-eyed. "Did you feel that?" Megumin asked, excitement filling her voice. Darkness nodded, her eyes filled with motherly affection. "That's them. They're saying hello." Megumin's heart swelled with joy as she connected with the unborn quintuplets. This was a bond she never expected to experience, but she cherished it nonetheless. As Megumin and Darkness continued to talk, the room filled with the unspoken conversations of the quintuplets, their telepathic abilities bridging the gap between the outside world and the life growing within Darkness. It was a unique and magical connection, one that brought them all closer together.

Darkness tossed and turned in bed, unable to find a comfortable position. The constant kicking from her blue dragonborn baby was keeping her awake. Frustrated, she finally sat up and placed a hand on her bulging belly. "Alright, little blue one," Darkness whispered, her voice filled with exhaustion. "You've been quite active tonight. Is there something you want to tell me?" As if in response, another strong kick echoed within her womb. Darkness winced but kept her hand pressed gently against her belly, hoping for a connection with her lively baby. "I know you're excited, love, but Mama needs some rest," Darkness continued, her voice filled with a mix of weariness and affection. "Why don't you settle down for a bit? We can have a little chat." To her surprise, she felt a wave of calm wash over her, as if her blue dragonborn baby understood her words. Darkness closed her eyes, focusing on the telepathic connection they shared. "Tell me, my little one, why are you so full of energy tonight?" Darkness asked, mentally projecting her thoughts to her baby. In response, a flash of electric blue rippled through her mind, accompanied by a series of fleeting images. Darkness caught glimpses of roaring thunderstorms and crackling lightning. It seemed her baby had an affinity for electricity, even before birth. A small smile tugged at the corners of Darkness's lips. "Ah, I see. You've inherited some of your dragonborn heritage, haven't you? It must be thrilling for you to feel alive with electricity coursing through your tiny body." As if in agreement, her baby kicked again, almost as if showing off its newfound power. Darkness couldn't help but laugh softly, feeling a sense of joy amidst the sleeplessness. "But my dear, remember that Mama needs her rest too," Darkness gently reminded her baby. "How about we strike a deal? I promise to spend time playing with you and embracing your electric side during the day, but at night, we'll both try to find some peace and quiet." In response, Darkness felt an almost mischievous tug in her mind, accompanied by a warm surge of affection. It was as if her baby was saying, "Deal, but only if you keep up with my lightning antics." Darkness chuckled and rubbed her belly, feeling a sense of comfort sweep over her. "Deal, my little spark. We'll have our adventures soon enough. But for now, let's both get some much-needed rest." With a final kick, the blue dragonborn baby seemed to acquiesce, finally settling down within Darkness's womb. Contentment filled her heart as she lay back down, drifting off to sleep, knowing that even within the realm of dreams, a unique connection awaited her and her quintuplets.
