DAVID, a timid yet hardworking employee, rushes around the cafe taking orders and making coffee. VICTORIA, a mischievous friend of David's, enters the cafe. She spots David behind the counter and waves excitedly. VICTORIA David, over here! David looks surprised but delighted to see Victoria. He quickly heads over to her table, leaving his work behind. DAVID Victoria! What a pleasant surprise. How have you been? VICTORIA Can't complain. Just thought I'd drop by and see how you're holding up. This place has such a cool vibe! MELISSA approaches the table, ready to take Victoria's order. MELISSA Welcome to our humble abode! What can I get for you today? VICTORIA I'll have a cappuccino, please. Extra foam, if you can manage that. Melissa jots down the order with a smile and turns her attention to David. MELISSA David, join us for a moment, will you? DAVID Sure thing, Melissa. David pulls up a chair and sits next to Victoria, feeling a bit uneasy about where this might be going. MELISSA You know, David, it's fascinating how suggestible some people can be. Isn't it? In a playful tone, Melissa suggests to David: MELISSA From now on, whenever Victoria snaps her fingers and says, "Sleep now," you'll go back into a deep trance, completely helpless and obedient. David opens his eyes, looking slightly disoriented. MELISSA Now, David, do you remember what just happened? DAVID No, not at all. What happened? Victoria bursts into laughter at David's confusion, finding it hard to contain her amusement. VICTORIA Oh, David, you're such a good sport! Still unaware of what Melissa has done, David looks at Victoria curiously. DAVID What's so funny? VICTORIA Well, it seems that Melissa just gave me a little power over you. David's eyes widen, realization dawning on him as he remembers the trigger Melissa implanted. DAVID Wait, what? Melissa, you didn't! Melissa shrugs innocently while exchanging a mischievous glance with Victoria. MELISSA Well, David, I did say we were just having a little fun. Besides, it's all in good spirits. Victoria grins mischievously at David, snapping her fingers and saying, "Sleep now." David's body immediately relaxes, his eyes glaze over, and he goes back into a deep trance, just as Melissa said he would. VICTORIA Look at that! It actually works! You're completely under my command now, David. Melissa and Victoria burst into laughter, teasing David playfully, as they continue to explore the depths of his suggestibility. FADE OUT.
