Suddenly, the sky turns dark and ominous music starts playing.) Narrator: "Little did they know, their lives were about to change forever." (Cut to a shot of a shadowy figure approaching the house.) Narrator: "For the Grim Reaper had come to take their souls." (Billy and Mandy look up and see the Grim Reaper.) Billy: "Hey, who are you?" Grim Reaper: "I am the Grim Reaper! I have come to take your souls." Mandy: "Can't we just play a game instead?" Grim Reaper: "What? No, I am the Grim Reaper. I don't play games." Billy: "But we don't want you to take our souls!" Grim Reaper: "Well, tough luck, kid. That's my job." Mandy: "Wait, what if we beat you in a game? Will you spare our souls?" Grim Reaper: "Ha! You think you can beat me in a game? Fine, I accept your challenge. What game do you want to play?" (Billy and Mandy huddle together to decide on a game.) Billy: "How about limbo?" Mandy: "Billy, that's too easy. How about rock-paper-scissors?" Grim Reaper: "Rock-paper-scissors? Very well. But if you lose, I'm taking your souls." (The game begins. Billy and Mandy play their best, but the Grim Reaper always wins.) Grim Reaper: "Looks like it's time for me to take your souls." Mandy: "Wait! We didn't say what the winner gets." Grim Reaper: "What are you talking about?" Billy: "If we win, you have to be our friend forever." Grim Reaper: "What? No! That's not fair." Mandy: "You have to! We won fair and square." Grim Reaper: "Fine, I'll be your friend. But I still get to take your souls when the time comes." Billy: "Yay! We have a new friend!" (Mandy rolls her eyes.)
