Malzeno: "GAH! Can't I just get a minute of peace without some hunters bothering me?!" Lunagaron: "Same. And I just want to be with my girlfriend again." Garangolm: "I heard that Magnamalo is getting married to Somnacanth tomorrow." Malzeno: "Wait, what?"

Lunagaron: "That's unexpected. I didn't even know they were together." Garangolm: "Yeah, apparently they're in love and want to make it official." Malzeno: "Well, I guess that's nice for them." Lunagaron: "Yeah, congrats to the happy couple." Garangolm: "I just hope they don't invite any hunters to the wedding. I'm sick of dealing with them." Malzeno: "Agreed. Let's just stay here and enjoy our peace while we can."

5 moths after Somnacanth and Magnamalo were married, the three lords headed back the Citadel. Malzeno: "So...Lunagaron..." Lunagaron: "Yeah?" Malzeno: "Who the hell are you dating?" Lunagaron: "Oh. Her name is Natsuki." Malzeno: "...you're dating...a human?" Lunagaron: "Yep." Malzeno: "You do realize we have rules here, right?!" Lunagaron: "Malzeno, I don't know what the hell you're talking about. Let alone the fact that Magnamalo and Somnacanth are expecting their first child!" Garangolm: "Wait, Somnacanth's pregnant?!" Lunagaron: "Yeah! She just told me that her baby is going to be a hybrid of her and Magnamalo!"

Malzeno: "Well, this is all just getting more and more bizarre." Garangolm: "I mean, we're talking about monsters who can breathe fire and ice, so I don't think a hybrid baby is that crazy." Lunagaron: "Exactly. And Natsuki doesn't care that I'm a monster. She sees me for who I am." Malzeno: "Fine, fine. As long as it doesn't cause any problems with the rules and regulations of the Citadel." Garangolm: "Yeah, let's just focus on keeping the peace and protecting this land from any hunters or outsiders who dare to threaten us."

Malzeno: "Lunagaron, we need to talk." Lunagaron: "What?" Malzeno: "Garangolm and I have made a decision." Lunagaron: "What is it? Is it a fresh new toy to play with? A new computer?!" Malzeno: "No. We're banning from ever coming to the Citadel again, Lunagaron."

Lunagaron: "What?! Why? What did I do?" Garangolm: "It's not about what you did, it's about who you're involved with. Dating a human is against our laws and it puts us in danger." Lunagaron: "But I love Natsuki! She's never done anything to harm us." Malzeno: "It's not about her. It's about the potential harm it could cause to our entire community. The humans will eventually find out about us and they won't hesitate to attack us." Lunagaron: "So, I have to choose between my love and my home?" Garangolm: "We're not asking you to choose, we're telling you that you can no longer come back here." Lunagaron: "This is unfair! You can't just kick me out like this!" Malzeno: "We can and we will. It's for the safety of everyone here." Lunagaron: "Fine. I guess I'll have to leave then." Garangolm: "We're sorry it had to come to this, Lunagaron." Lunagaron: "Yeah, me too."

Lunagaron: "I can't believe that Malzeno and Garangolm kicked me out! I really need something to do..." Lunagaron spots a nearby building. Lunagaron: "Sweet! Now I can enjoy a moment to myself!" Inside the building, Lunagaron sits at a desk - then notices a strange, red book sitting beside him. Lunagaron: "Hey! There's something to read here!" Lunagaron starts reading the book. Lunagaron: "Hmmm...I wonder what's at the last page-" Somebody takes the book away from Lunagaron. Lunagaron: "THE HELL WAS THAT FOR?!" ???: "I can't let you have Portrait of Markov, nor do want anyone to read the last page. But...my, my...your claws could be an excellent addition to my knife collection!" Lunagaron reveals his claws. Lunagaron: "Get away from me, you freak!" Lunagaron slashes at the mysterious person, ultimately gouging out one of the person's eyes and cutting off most of the person's long purple hair. ???: "AAAH! MY EYE!!!" Just then, Natsuki enters the room with another mysterious person - except this one had brown hair and emerald green eyes. Natsuki: "Monika, I think Yuri went this way- OH MY GOD! Yuri, what happened to you!?" Blood comes out of where Yuri's eye used to be.

Monika: "What the hell happened here? Who did this to you?" Lunagaron: "She attacked me! I had to defend myself!" Natsuki: "Lunagaron, what are you doing here?" Lunagaron: "I was just looking for something to do, I swear. I didn't mean to cause any trouble." Monika: "Let's just focus on Yuri. We need to get her medical attention." Natsuki: "Yeah, lunagaron, you need to leave. We don't want any more trouble." Lunagaron: "Fine, I'll go. But I didn't do anything wrong." Lunagaron leaves the building, feeling frustrated and misunderstood. He didn't want to cause any harm and just wanted to read the book in peace. But now he felt like an outsider, rejected by both his home and this new community he had stumbled into. He vowed to find a way to prove himself and show that he could be trusted.

8 months later, at Magnamalo's house, Somnacnath starts to feel cramps in her stomach. Somnacanth: "Magnamalo...I think something's wrong..." Magnamalo: "What is it, honey?" Somnacanth: "I...I don't know...it just happened..." Just then, a small puddle of water starts forming between Somnacanth's legs. Somnacnath: "AAAAAAGH!!!" Magnamalo: "Somnacanth! What's going on?!" Somnacanth: "My water just broke! The baby's coming!! And we don't even have a name for them yet!!!"

Magnamalo: "Don't worry, Somnacanth. We'll think of a name for them. Right now, we need to focus on getting you to the hospital." Somnacanth: *nods* "Okay. Let's go." Magnamalo picks up Somnacanth and carries her to the hospital, where she is rushed into the delivery room. Meanwhile, Lunagaron is out in the forest, trying to prove himself. He had spent the past few months practicing his combat skills and learning more about the world outside of the Citadel. As he walks through the woods, he sees a group of humans approaching. His heart races as he remembers the warnings from his former leaders. Lunagaron: "Stay calm. Don't let your anger get the best of you. You can handle this." The humans approach him cautiously, their weapons at the ready. Human: "Easy, now. Don't try anything funny. We don't want any trouble." Lunagaron: "I don't want any trouble either. I just want to talk." Human: "Talk? With a monster like you? I don't think so." Lunagaron: "Please, just hear me out. I know we have a history of violence between humans and monsters, but I believe we can find a way to coexist peacefully." The humans look at each other skeptically, but eventually lower their weapons. Human: "Alright. We're listening. But you better not try anything." Lunagaron takes a deep breath and begins to explain his ideas for a peaceful future. As he speaks, he can feel his claws uncurling, his anger melting away. He realizes that maybe, just maybe, there is a way for monsters and humans to live in harmony.
