BUFFALO 1: It's like a symbol for our school. Something people can rally behind and cheer for. BUFFALO 3: That sounds stupid. We're not a human school. Why do we need a mascot? BUFFALO 1: I don't know, but apparently, the school has been asking for suggestions for a name. The herd falls silent, considering the possibilities. BUFFALO 4: How about the Buffaloes? BUFFALO 5: Yeah, that's pretty cool. BUFFALO 6: No way. I don't want to be associated with that dumb name. BUFFALO 2: Why not? BUFFALO 6: Because it's not grammatically correct. The plural of buffalo is still buffalo. BUFFALO 1: Huh? What do you mean? BUFFALO 6: It's like saying "fishes" instead of "fish." It's just wrong. We would look ridiculous. BUFFALO 3: Well, what are we supposed to suggest, then? BUFFALO 6: How about the Stampede? Or the Thundering Herd? BUFFALO 1: I like those! The Stampede is perfect.
