[Player] enters Vanessa's dark and damp room. As they walk in, they notice Vanessa's round belly and the irritation on her face. [Player]: "Hey there, are you okay?" Vanessa: "No, I'm not okay. I don't want to talk about it." [Player]: "Okay, I understand. I'm here to help you if you need it." Vanessa: "Help me? No one can help me. My egg sac has been stolen." [Player]: "Oh no, that's terrible. What can I do to help?" Vanessa: "You? What can you possibly do?" [Player]: "Well, I'm a good listener. Sometimes talking through our problems can help us think of a solution." Vanessa scoffs, "You think talking is going to help me?! My egg sac is gone, and I don't even know who took it. I can't protect my offspring like this." [Player]: "I'm sorry, that sounds really tough. But maybe we can work together to find out who took it and get it back." Vanessa looks at [player] with a bit of surprise. "Maybe you're right. I've been so angry that I haven't been thinking clearly. Can you help me investigate the cave to see if we can find any clues?" [Player]: "Absolutely, let's get started." Vanessa: "Thank you, [player]. I appreciate your help."
