(In the school literature clubroom...) Monika: (propping up Yuri's legs) "You can do it, Yuri. Breathe through each contraction. You're not fully dilated, so we still have some time until the ambulance arrives." (turning towards Sayori) "Can you call the hospital for an update?" Sayori: (nodding frantically) "Y-yes, of course, Monika! I'll call them right away!" (She hurriedly reaches for her phone and dials the hospital's number, anxiously waiting for someone to answer.) Yuri: (grimacing in pain) "T-thank you, Monika. I... I'll try my best." Natsuki: (suddenly entering the clubroom) "What's going on? Why is Yuri in so much pain?" (She rushes over to Yuri's side, concern evident in her eyes.) Monika: "Yuri's starting to have contractions, Natsuki. We're waiting for the ambulance to arrive, but in the meantime, we need to support her." Natsuki: (wide-eyed) "Oh my god, contractions? Is she... Is she going into labor? What do we do?" Monika: "Yes, Natsuki, she's going into labor. We need to keep her as comfortable as possible and help her through the contractions until the ambulance arrives. Support is crucial." Sayori: (on the phone) "Hello, this is Sayori from the Literature Club. We have a member who's going into labor in our clubroom. Please send an ambulance as soon as possible. Thank you!" Operator: "Understood, Sayori. An ambulance is on its way. Is she in any immediate danger? Is there a medical professional present?" Monika: "No, there isn't a medical professional present, but we're doing our best to keep her stable. She's not fully dilated yet, so we have some time. We'll continue monitoring her." Operator: "Alright, stay on the line with me, and I'll guide you through what to do until the ambulance arrives. Is there any available towels or blankets that you can use to keep her warm?" Sayori: (rushing to a nearby cabinet) "Yes, we have some blankets here! We'll wrap her up to keep her warm." Natsuki: "And what about pain relief? Is there anything we can do for her?" Monika: "There might be some pain relief techniques we can try. Deep breathing and relaxation exercises can help. Natsuki, would you mind sitting beside Yuri and guiding her through some breathing exercises?" Natsuki: (nodding determinedly) "Of course, Monika. I'll do whatever I can to help Yuri." Yuri: (grateful) "Thank you, Natsuki. I appreciate it." Monika: (on the phone) "Operator, Natsuki will help Yuri with some breathing exercises to manage her pain. Is there anything else we should be doing?" Operator: "That's great to hear. Just keep her calm, comfortable, and monitor her closely. If any complications arise, don't hesitate to update me. The ambulance is on its way." Monika: "Thank you, operator. We'll continue doing our best until they arrive." (With the support of her friends, Yuri endures the contractions, staying as calm as possible. They offer encouraging words and soothing gestures while waiting anxiously for the ambulance to arrive. Together, they create a comforting atmosphere, reminding Yuri that she's not alone in this challenging moment. However, as soon as Yuri's water breaks, they realize her labor is progressing too quickly - and there's a possibility that they might have to deliver the baby in the clubroom. Despite this, Monika encourages Yuri to resist the urge to push until the ambulance arrives.) Monika: (patting Yuri's hand) "Yuri, the ambulance will be here soon. We'll do our best to help you through this. Just try to hold on a little longer and resist the urge to push." Yuri: (nodding, tears streaming down her face) "O-okay, Monika. I'll try my best." Natsuki: (grasping Yuri's other hand) "You're doing great, Yuri. Just a little longer, and then the professionals will be here to take care of everything." Sayori: (holding back tears) "I-I'm so sorry, Yuri. I wish I could make the ambulance come faster." Monika: "It's not your fault, Sayori. We're all doing everything we can to help Yuri. Let's just keep her as calm and comfortable as possible." Natsuki: (whispering reassuring words to Yuri) "You're strong, Yuri. We're all here for you. Just breathe through it and stay strong." Yuri: (clenching her teeth, trying to hold back the urge to push) "I...I'm trying...it's so difficult..." Monika: (stroking Yuri's hair) "I know it's hard, Yuri, but you're doing amazing. The ambulance will be here any minute now. Just a little while longer." (As the minutes tick by, the pain intensifies for Yuri. She can feel her body instinctively pushing, but she fights against it, following Monika's guidance. However, at that moment, Yuri feels an unbearably strong contraction as the urge to push overtakes her - and she needs to push extremely hard.) Yuri: (gasping, unable to hold back anymore) "I can't...I have to push!" Monika: "Yuri, don't! It's too dangerous! Just try and

breathe through it! The ambulance will be here soon!" Natsuki: (holding Yuri's hand tighter) "Yuri, please, you have to try and hold on. We don't have the necessary equipment here, and it's not safe to deliver the baby by ourselves." Sayori: (panicking) "What do we do, Monika? She can't hold it in any longer!" Monika: (thinking quickly) "Okay, I have an idea. Natsuki, grab those extra blankets and make a makeshift bed on the floor. Yuri, try your best to lay down there and elevate your legs." Natsuki: (quickly making preparations) "Got it, Monika!" Yuri: (gritting her teeth) "O-okay, I'll try." Monika: "Sayori, call the ambulance back and tell them we might have to deliver the baby here. Ask them for instructions on what to do in case we need to proceed." Sayori: (nervously dialing the number) "Alright, I'll do it! Please let them get here soon!" (As Sayori speaks to the operator, Natsuki finishes creating a makeshift bed on the floor using the blankets. Yuri carefully lays down, still experiencing intense contractions.) Monika: (kneeling beside Yuri) "Yuri, we're going to support you as best we can. Natsuki, continue guiding her through deep breaths. Sayori, tell the ambulance operator what's happening and get any information you can." Natsuki: (squeezing Yuri's hand) "Yuri, you're going to be alright. Just keep breathing, and we'll do this together." Yuri: (fighting through the pain) "Okay, Natsuki...I'll try my best." (Sayori relays the information to the operator, who instructs them on how to proceed with the delivery. Meanwhile, Monika helps Yuri focus on her breathing and reassures her that everything will be okay.) Monika: "Yuri, listen carefully. The ambulance might not arrive in time, so we have to be prepared. We need to deliver the baby ourselves, but don't worry, I'll guide you through the process." Yuri: (tears streaming down her face) "Okay, Monika. I trust you." Natsuki: (holding back her own tears) "We're here for you, Yuri. We'll do whatever it takes to help you deliver safely." (Monika and Natsuki work together, following the instructions from the operator. They support and encourage Yuri throughout the delivery process, ensuring her safety and the baby's.) Monika: "Alright, Yuri. I can see the baby's head. During the next contraction, I need you to push as hard as you can." Yuri: (taking deep breaths) "O-okay, Monika. I can do this." Natsuki: "You're doing great, Yuri! Just a little more!" (After a few intense moments, Yuri gives one final push, and the sound of a baby's cry fills the room. Emotions overwhelm the girls as they stare at the newborn in awe.) Monika: (tears of joy) "Congratulations, Yuri. You did it. You have a beautiful baby." Natsuki: (whispering in amazement) "Look at that, Yuri. You brought a new life into this world." Sayori: (sniffing, wiping away tears) "Yuri, you're amazing. I can't believe we just witnessed this miracle together." (Yuri's exhaustion is momentarily forgotten as they celebrate the birth of the baby in the unlikely setting of their school's literature clubroom. They wrap the baby in a warm blanket, waiting for the ambulance's arrival to ensure the health and safety of both mother and child.) (To be continued...)
