[there would be dialogue in this story:] (It was only 8 months since the events of "Pokemon Rot/Spark". The Astros region has been repaired, after the failed attempts of Team Nightmare to destroy the region using Volurosmic's powers. After returning to the HQ of Team Nightmare, you see Natsuki - the leader of Team Nightmare - pacing around the room with her partner Pokemon - Volurosmic - by her side. Apparently, Pokemon from the northern Fyrun region have migrated to the Astros region - including Pokemon like Diamoth, Snowarg, Cookatrice, and even Jotundra. Together, you and Natsuki venture to the Fyrun region to find out why some of its native Pokemon have migrated to the Astros region. Once in the Fyrun region, you and Natsuki are given the choice of three starter Pokemon - Bearry, Foaloga, and Crabbub. Thus begins the story of the first DLC for "Pokemon Rot/Spark" - "The Corrupted Code"; starring the legendary Dragon/Digital-type Pokemon "MissingNo.".

Player: (intrigued) A hidden power source? That sounds promising. Where is it located? Natsuki: It's in a heavily guarded facility near the mountains. I managed to gather some intel from the locals, and they mentioned something about a corrupted code affecting the power source. Player: (curious) Corrupted code? That's strange. But it might explain why the Pokemon are behaving differently too. We have to investigate this further. Natsuki: Agreed. Let's gear up and head to the facility. We'll need to be prepared for anything. (Player and Natsuki make their way towards the facility, battling trainers and solving puzzles along the way. Finally, they reach the entrance.) Natsuki: (determined) This is it, Player. The heart of the problem. Let's go in and put an end to whatever is causing this chaos. Player: (grinning) I'm ready for anything. We'll get to the bottom of this and save both regions from this corrupted code. (Together, Player and Natsuki enter the facility, ready to face whatever challenges await them and uncover the mysteries behind the migration of Pokemon from Fyrun to Astros.)
