I just wanted to cool off! Everyone erupts into laughter, astounded at Carl's audacity. INT. POND - SURFACE Carl notices a peculiar sight - fish are surfacing and floating belly-up. CARL (confused) Uh, guys? What's up with the fish? DARYL (grinning) Carl, did you happen to let out a little something extra while you were underwater? CARL (embarrassed) Maybe... Everybody bursts into laughter as the fish floating belly-up provides a rather pungent confirmation. INT. POND - DAY After the laughter subsides, Carl spots a fish floating nearby and quickly grabs it. CARL (grinning proudly) Well, I may have scared off the fish, but at least we've got dinner! Everyone applauds Carl's resourcefulness, enjoying the hilarity of the moment in this otherwise bleak world. FADE OUT.
