(Now, I was really hoping for Vanessa to calm down - but nothing was working. That's when I heard footsteps - it was from that human I first met a few days ago.) [player]: "Hey, Mindy!" (I turned to see [player], my eight legs still dripping with blood. Though my younger sister was a Cave Spider and I was a regular Spider, I still couldn't believe that Vanessa had attacked me and stabbed me in the leg.)

Mindy: "[player], hi. What are you doing here?" [player]: "I was just passing by and heard some commotion. Is everything alright?" Mindy: "Well...not exactly. Vanessa attacked me and I'm bleeding." [player]: "Oh, I see. Let me help you with that." ([player] approached me and examined my wound.) [player]: "It looks like you need some medical attention. I can take you to the humans' camp. They have some medical supplies there." Mindy: "That would be great, thank you." ([player] helped me up and we made our way to the camp. It was a bit of a walk, but we finally made it.) Human: "Oh my goodness, what happened to you?" ([player] explained the situation to the human and they immediately got to work on my wound.) Mindy: "Thank you so much. I don't know what I would've done without your help, [player]." [player]: "No problem, Mindy. I'm glad I could assist you." (I felt better already, but the trauma of the situation with Vanessa would stay with me for a while. However, I knew deep down that I had a true friend in [player] and that gave me hope.)
