Title: Eternity's Covenant INT. DAVID'S BEDROOM - NIGHT A dimly-lit room. Posters of space and sci-fi movies decorate the walls. DAVID, a curious and imaginative teenager, lies on his bed. He gazes at the night sky through his telescope. DAVID (starry-eyed) I wonder if there's something out there... something beyond our wildest dreams. EXT. DAVID'S BACKYARD - NIGHT David's backyard. Suddenly, a bright light descends from the sky, illuminating the entire area. David's eyes widen with excitement. DAVID (in awe) Whoa! What's happening? Startled, he picks up his phone and begins recording the extraordinary event. INT. LIVING ROOM - NIGHT David's PARENTS, EMILY and JOHN, rush into the living room. They watch the unfolding scene through the window in disbelief. EMILY (fearful) Oh my God, John! I've never seen anything like this before. JOHN (sternly) Stay away from the windows, Emily. We don't know what's going on out there. EXT. DAVID'S BACKYARD - CONTINUOUS The light gradually fades, revealing the presence of an ALIEN CIVILIZATION. The beings, both human-like and anthropomorphic, appear to be studying the environment. DAVID (excited, whispering) This is unreal! They really exist! As David continues to film, he witnesses one of the aliens suddenly lashing out with an energy blast, unintentionally incinerating a nearby tree. DAVID (startled, mumbles) They... they're dangerous. INT. LIVING ROOM - NIGHT Emily and John huddle close, exchanging words of concern while watching the chaos outside. JOHN (frantically, whispering) We have to hide, Emily! They might be hostile. EMILY (teary-eyed) But where? Our world is falling apart, John. EXT. DAVID'S BACKYARD - CONTINUOUS David panics, realizing the aliens are indiscriminately causing destruction. Fear engulfs him, and he takes cover behind a bush. Suddenly, an energy blast strikes him, and his body goes limp. EXT. ALIEN SHIP - DAY David awakens inside an alien spacecraft. He finds himself amidst advanced technology and unfamiliar surroundings. ALIEN LEADER (calmingly) Do not be afraid, human. We have brought you back from the brink of death. Your world is in grave danger. INT. ALIEN SHIP - CONTINUOUS The alien leader explains telepathically that they have intervened to save humanity, preventing their own kind from wreaking havoc on Earth. ALIEN LEADER (telepathically) We have seen the beauty of compassion amongst you. You are not ready for death, young one. We shall restore balance. EXT. ON BOARD THE ALIEN SHIP - NIGHT David, now brimming with newfound wisdom, watches the alien civilization leave Earth. He descends, alone, into his transformed world. His home and neighborhood are unrecognizable. Nature thrives. Harmony has been restored. DAVID (whispering) The world has changed forever. I will never forget what I witnessed, what I've learned. DAVID takes a deep breath, ready to embrace the unknown future, armed with a renewed sense of purpose. FADE OUT.
