Title: Determining the Name of the Conference Fade in: EXT. CAMPUS - DAY Seven representatives from different universities gather together in a conference room. They are Armstrong State, Augusta, Campbell, Baptist (Charleston Southern), Coastal Carolina, Radford, and Winthrop. They all look excited yet serious for today's meeting. INT. CONFERENCE ROOM - DAY The spokesperson from Armstrong State begins to speak. ARMSTRONG STATE: Good day, everyone. We all know why we're here today. Our goal is to determine the name of this conference. AUGUSTA: Why can't we just name it after one of the universities here? CAMPBELL: Agreed. Or perhaps we could name it after the state we all come from. BAPTIST: I like that idea. It's a great way to showcase the unity among our schools. COASTAL CAROLINA: Can we maybe add the word "Athletic" to the name too? RADFORD: I like that. It gives a sense of what our conference is all about. WINTHROP: How about we add in the year too? That way, people who look back in time will know when this conference started. ARMSTRONG STATE: So we have three things in mind: the name of the state, the word "Athletic", and the year. The representatives begin to brainstorm more ideas until they finally agree on one: CAMPBELL: How about we name it the South Atlantic Athletic Conference of 1983? AUGUSTA: That's perfect! ALL: Agreed! ARMSTRONG STATE: It has been decided. We will officially name the conference the South Atlantic Athletic Conference of 1983. The representatives shake hands, feeling accomplished for coming up with a conference name that they all can be proud of. FADE OUT.
