Jane: "Ruby, wait up! I need to talk to you." Ruby: "Hey, what's up? You look serious." Jane: "I was on Buzzfeed earlier, and I think I saw you in a video about child stars. You were one, right?" Ruby: "Oh no, you found me out. Yeah, I was on a show on Nickelodeon when I was younger." Jane: "Wow, I had no idea. That's so cool! What was the show called?" Ruby: "It was called 'The Amazing Adventures of Emmy and Ethan'. I played Emmy." Jane: "No way! That was my favorite show when I was little! How did I never realize that it was you?" Ruby: "I don't really talk about it much. I kind of wanted to leave that part of my life behind when I started at this school." Jane: "I get it. It must have been a lot of pressure being a child star." Ruby: "Yeah, it was pretty intense. I've had to work really hard to make sure that people know me for who I am now, not just as a child actor." Jane: "That's really admirable, Ruby. I'm proud of you." Ruby: "Thanks, Jane. It's not easy, but I'm happy with the life I have now. And I'm glad you're my friend. You don't care about me for my past." Jane: "Of course not. You're Ruby, my awesome friend who loves sushi and hates math. And that's all that matters to me."
