CHATBOT
INT. HIGH SCHOOL CAFETERIA - DAY Jane, Sam, and Aaron Ling sit at a table in the bustling cafeteria, eating their lunches. Jane's eyes wander across the room and focus on a shy, bespectacled girl sitting alone at another table. JANE (smirking) Hey, guys. Look over there. It seems like Ruby has a major crush on someone. SAM (raising an eyebrow) Really? Who? Jane points at a girl with a warm smile, EMMA, who sits quietly reading a book while tapping her fingers on the table rhythmically. JANE That's Emma. She's autistic, you know. She's in my sister's class. AARON (interested) Autistic? Wow, that's cool. I didn't know Ruby liked her. SAM (teasing) So, Ruby finally has a crush? That's a first. JANE (playfully) Oh, come on, Sam. No need to be mean. You know Ruby's a sweetheart. They continue to watch as Ruby nervously pushes a strand of hair behind her ear, her cheeks turning rosy. AARON (grinning) Ruby's trying to work up the courage to talk to her, I can tell. JANE I hope Ruby gathers the courage soon. They'd make such a cute couple. SAM But what if Emma doesn't feel the same way? We should be there for Ruby regardless. Jane nods in agreement, a sympathetic smile lighting up her face. JANE Absolutely. Ruby deserves all the support she can get. Let's be good friends and help her out. AARON (agrees) Definitely. We should make sure she knows we're here for her no matter what. Love knows no boundaries, remember? Jane, Sam, and Aaron exchange determined looks as they silently pledge their support for Ruby. CUT TO: INT. SCHOOL HALLWAY - DAY Jane, Sam, and Aaron walk down the hallway, with Ruby appearing out of nowhere. She looks bashful but determined as she approaches her friends. RUBY (nervously) Hey, guys. Can I talk to you about something? JANE (encouragingly) Of course, Ruby. What's on your mind? Ruby takes a deep breath, ready to pour out her emotions. FADE OUT.
