I'm about to beat you again! SAM (grinning) Not if I have anything to say about it! Aaron looks nervously at the screen, tapping his fingers anxiously. AARON You guys sure seem comfortable playing video games. I've never really been a fan. JANE (teasingly) What? Are you afraid you'll lose? SAM (smiling) Yeah, c'mon, Aaron. We won't judge you if you're not good at it. Aaron hesitates for a moment, his fingers stilling on his knees. AARON (sighing) It's not that... I'm actually afraid of trying new things. Jane and Sam exchange confused glances. JANE (softly) Wait, what? Like, everything? AARON (nodding) Pretty much. I get really anxious about stepping out of my comfort zone. It's like this overwhelming fear takes over. Sam pats Aaron's shoulder reassuringly. SAM That's okay, Aaron. We all have fears. It's normal. You don't have to rush into anything you're not ready for. Jane chimes in, her face full of empathy. JANE Absolutely. We're here for you, Aaron. We can help you face your fears, little by little. Aaron smiles gratefully, feeling understood for the first time. AARON Thanks, guys. I appreciate it. It's just hard sometimes, you know? JANE We get it, Aaron. It's not easy, but we'll support you.
