But if they called my girlfriend - Emily - "blind as a bat", they'd be right - because she's...well, she's part bat. She relies on her sense of hearing to sense the world around her - as her ears were the same as those on all kinds of bats. Now, before I get into more detail, let me tell you about how I first met Emily - which was when I was lost in an abandoned mineshaft and tripped on a stalagmite, right into her chest.)

Emily: Aww, thanks, Mike. You're not too bad yourself. And that's how Emily and I first met. We've been together ever since, and I wouldn't want it any other way. She may be part bat, but to me, she's just the most special girl in the world.
