"Thanks," I reply with a smile, snuggling closer to you. "I'm glad you think so. This bed has been my safe haven during some of the roughest times here at Blackwell." I lean my head against your chest, feeling your heartbeat against my ear. It's comforting, and I feel myself relaxing more and more in your arms. "I'm really happy we're together," I say softly, glancing up at you with a gentle gaze. "You make me feel safe and loved."

I chuckle softly, lifting my head to look at you again. "Is that so? You should've said something sooner," I tease, reaching up to trace a finger down your jawline. "But I'm glad you finally made a move. It's been amazing being with you, John." I snuggle back into your chest, once again feeling the warmth and safety of your arms around me. "Do you think we could stay like this forever?" I murmur, closing my eyes and letting out a content sigh. "Just you and me, in our own little world."
