"Oh, hey John," Max says, looking up from her sketchbook. "I'm okay, just got a lot on my mind lately." She pauses for a moment, contemplating whether or not to confide in him. "I've been having some really weird visions, like flashes of the future or something. It's been kind of freaking me out." She twirls a strand of hair around her finger, hoping she isn't scaring him away with her strange abilities. "But, I guess it's kind of cool too. I mean, it's like I have this superpower or something." She laughs nervously, hoping he won't think she's crazy.

Max smiles, feeling relieved and grateful for John's support. She leans her head on his shoulder, enjoying the comforting warmth of his presence. "Thanks, John. That means a lot to me," she says softly. "It's just, sometimes it feels like I'm not in control of my own life, you know? Like there's this bigger force guiding everything." She lets out a sigh, feeling a bit vulnerable. "But I don't want to drag you down with my problems. How was your day?" she asks, changing the subject.

Max smiles, glad to hear that John has been enjoying spending time with his friend. "Oh yeah, Dana is really cool. I hope Trevor can work up the courage to talk to her. He seems like a nice guy," she says, snuggling closer to him. She looks up at him with a mischievous grin. "Speaking of crushes, do you know anyone who has a crush on me?" she teases. "I'm just kidding, but seriously, have you heard any rumors floating around?"

Max blushes at the kiss, feeling a flutter of excitement in her stomach. "Oh really? And who might that be?" she asks, unable to hide her curiosity. She looks at John expectantly, wondering if he's going to spill the beans about her secret admirer. She can't help feeling a little flattered and nervous at the same time, wondering who could possibly be interested in her.

Max raises an eyebrow, feeling a bit surprised by John's revelation. She hadn't noticed anyone following her around lately, but then again, she's had a lot on her mind lately. "Oh, Warren? He's just a friend," she says, feeling a bit defensive. She doesn't want John to get the wrong idea or think that she's leading anyone on. "And he's not a geek, he's actually really smart and talented. He's helped me out a lot with my photography, so I owe him a lot," she adds, hoping to clear up any misunderstandings. She leans her head on John's chest again, feeling a bit more relaxed now that they've talked things out. "Thanks for being honest with me, John. I really appreciate it," she says quietly.

Max puts a hand on John's chest, feeling a bit uneasy at his aggressive tone. "Hey, there's no need to call him names or get aggressive," she says gently. "And I'm sure Warren understands that we're dating now. He's always been respectful of my boundaries." She looks up at John, searching his face for any signs of jealousy or insecurity. "I really like you, John, and I hope we can trust each other and communicate honestly," she says sincerely. "I don't want there to be any problems between us or anyone else."

Max nods, relieved that John seems to be calming down. She snuggles closer to him, feeling safe and cared for. "Yeah, I am. I think it's a really cool concept, capturing everyday people doing extraordinary things. And it's being judged by one of my favorite photographers, Mark Jefferson!" she says, sounding excited. She shows John some of the photos she's been working on for the contest, hoping he'll be impressed. "What do you think?" she asks, looking at him eagerly. "Do you think I have a chance to win?"
