GRACE CATHEDRAL - DAY Four teenagers - JESSICA (16), a spunky goth girl with blue hair, OSCAR (17), a nerdy, curly-haired eccentric, LEAH (15), reserved with a secret rough edge, and MIKE (18), the athletic jock - wander through the stunning Grace Cathedral in San Francisco. While they admire the stained glass artwork and beautiful architecture, the ground suddenly shakes. An ancient, dusty tome falls from the hidden chamber above. It lands at their feet. OSCAR Uh, guys, did that book just fall from the ceiling? JESSICA We should open it. Maybe it's a sign. As they flip through the cryptic pages, an eerie wind blows through the cathedral, sending the pages to a particular chapter. The hushed whispers become clear, as if reciting a prophecy. WHISPER (VO) Four righteous souls, bound by fate, must arise to confront the malevolent Denius... LEAH What? Malevolent Denius? That doesn't sound good. MIKE Seriously? This sounds like some cheesy sci-fi novel. JESSICA (whispering) Shhh! Listen! WHISPER (VO) In ten months' time, Denius will tear through the veil of his dark dimension. He shall cast an unstoppable brainwashing blast upon mankind... OSCAR OH. MY. GOD. We have to do something about it! MIKE (scoffs) And do what? Who even are "four righteous souls?" That could be anyone. LEAH Says the guy who rescued a kitten from a tree last week. MIKE Hey, that thing was really stuck! LEAH (smirks) Incredibly righteous of you. JESSICA Wait, what if it's us? With our brains combined, we could be the catalyst to stop Denius. Lead the charge against this wicked darkness. OSCAR I'm in. Let's band together - as the Anti-Denius Force. MIKE Let's put our different strengths to use and defeat this evil angel. LEAH Count me in. The four teenagers look at one another, their eyes filled with fear, hope and determination. They embrace their destiny as the Anti-Denius Force. FADE OUT.

INT. ABANDONED WAREHOUSE - NIGHT The Anti-Denius Force - JESSICA, OSCAR, LEAH, and MIKE - meet at an old warehouse on the outskirts of town to test their newly realized powers. Giggles, excited energy, and clicking shoes echo as they run in. LEAH Are we sure this is the place to test these...powers? MIKE Yeah, we need a place where we won't be disturbed or, you know, seen. JESSICA Besides, it's perfectly creepy here. Just the way I like things. OSCAR Alright, no more stalling. Jessica, why don't you go first? Jessica focuses her energy, reaching out towards a pile of empty cardboard boxes. They fly through the air, swirling around her as she controls them with her telekinesis. LEAH No way, that's so cool! OSCAR She's like a blue-haired X-Men character! MIKE (grinning) Alright, Jessica. We see you. Who's next? Leah closes her eyes, concentrating and clenching her fists. Her body trembles before she bursts into strong, beautiful silver flames. Unlike normal fire, these don't harm her or surroundings, and she can create and control the flames at will. JESSICA Whoa, Silver Phoenix. That's amazing! MIKE I can't top that...but I'll give it a shot. Mike takes a deep breath and blurs into motion, speeding around the warehouse at impossible velocities, his movements nearly invisible to the naked eye. OSCAR So... you're basically a superhero-version of the Flash. Damn, that's rad. LEAH (still aflame) Yeah, who knew a jock could be that fast without a ball? As the others laugh, Oscar steps forward uncertainly, fidgeting with his glasses. OSCAR Well, this probably won't look as awesome as you guys, but... watch this. He points his index finger at a dusty old motorcycle parked in the corner. He focuses, and the bike groans to life, revving its engine. Oscar grins in delight, manipulating the bike as it drives and does tricks. MIKE Okay, that's really sick, man. JESSICA You're a technopath. How very fitting for our resident nerd. The four revel in their newfound abilities, taking turns showing off their powers and cheering one another. LEAH We really are the Anti-Denius Force, aren't we? OSCAR We are. We've got the powers. Now, we just have to figure out how to use them to stop Denius. The foursome, grinning, exchange resolute nods, eyes shining with purpose as they ready themselves to face the challenge ahead. FADE OUT.

INT. SCHOOL LIBRARY - DAY The Anti-Denius Force - JESSICA, OSCAR, LEAH, and MIKE - gather in their school library, huddled in a corner near the back shelves. They are dressed in ordinary clothes, acting like typical high school students to avoid drawing attention to their secret mission. They pull out the ancient tome that revealed their powers and set it on a table before them. Various book pages about mythology, supernatural lore, and even some on quantum physics are spread on the surface. JESSICA So, if we're going to stop Denius, we need to understand his motives. Why does he want to brainwash humanity? LEAH Not to mention how we can use our powers to prevent it. OSCAR (flipping through pages) Right. Hmm, it says here that Denius' dimension is a mirror of our own, but twisted with darkness and suffering. By brainwashing humanity, he can weaken the veil between his dimension and ours, possibly merge the two. MIKE And if our dimensions merge, chaos and destruction will follow. LEAH So, our mission is to fortify the veil and shut it--even better, lock it! JESSICA (reading from the tome) To do that, we must find the 'Rite of Sealing,' a ritual that incantates through the energy of human souls, protecting the fabric of the dimensions. The others look at her, eyebrows raised with curiosity. OSCAR How come we haven't heard of this 'Rite of Sealing' before? LEAH And how do we know we'll be able to perform it without causing more damage? JESSICA (grinning triumphantly) That's where our powers come in. Each of our abilities is tied to the elements needed to unravel the ritual and seal Denius away. Telekinesis, silver flames, super speed, and technopathy. MIKE Okay, so we need to train harder, learn how to use our powers to their max potential. OSCAR Let's use our time wisely. Remember, we have only ten months before he sends the brainwashing blast. LEAH Over the course of these months, we'll research the ritual extensively while mastering our powers. JESSICA We've got this, you guys. We're the chosen protectors of this world, the Anti-Denius Force. Let's save it. The group exchanges determined looks and knuckle-bumps before getting to work, ready to devote their time and energy to their destiny: protecting mankind from Denius. FADE OUT.
