CHATBOT
INT. JANE'S BEDROOM - DAY Jane, Sam, Ruby, and Aaron are sitting on Jane's bed, talking and laughing. SAM You guys, my sister can be so annoying sometimes. RUBY (laughing) Don't worry, Sam, siblings are meant to be annoying. It's like a lifelong job for them. JANE (teasing) Ruby, remember when your brother put that frog in your backpack last year? RUBY (groaning) Ugh, don't remind me! I'll never forget that. He gave me a heart attack! AARON (laughing) Hey, we all have mischievous siblings. I'm telling you, they secretly take special classes on how to drive us crazy. They all laugh together until they hear a KNOCK on the bedroom door. JANE Come in! Sam's younger sister, LILY, enters the room with a mischievous grin on her face. LILY (teasingly) Oh, look who's here! It's the girl with the funny hat! RUBY (sternly, but controlled) Lily, that's not a nice thing to say. Please don't insult my religion. LILY (sincerely) I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, Ruby. Just wanted to tease a little. JANE (disappointed) Lily, we've talked about this before. You need to be more considerate towards others. SAM (agrees) Yeah, Lily. What if someone made fun of something you care about? Lily looks down, seemingly realizing the impact of her words. LILY (sincerely) You're right, guys. I'm sorry, Ruby. I shouldn't have said those things. Can we still be friends? Ruby takes a moment, then smiles and nods. RUBY (encouragingly) Of course, Lily. Friends make mistakes sometimes. Just remember to think before you speak next time. Lily grins and rushes to give Ruby a tight, sincere HUG. LILY Thank you for forgiving me, Ruby. I promise I'll do better. The tension dissipates as they all exchange warm smiles. JANE Alright, now that we've settled that, let's get back to having fun! Who's up for some video games? They all cheer enthusiastically and shuffle towards the TV, leaving behind the previous tension and embracing the spirit of friendship. FADE OUT.
