5 moths after Somnacanth and Magnamalo were married, the three lords headed back the Citadel. Malzeno: "So...Lunagaron..." Lunagaron: "Yeah?" Malzeno: "Who the hell are you dating?" Lunagaron: "Oh. Her name is Natsuki." Malzeno: "...you're dating...a human?" Lunagaron: "Yep." Malzeno: "You do realize we have rules here, right?!" Lunagaron: "Malzeno, I don't know what the hell you're talking about. Let alone the fact that Magnamalo and Somnacanth are expecting their first child!" Garangolm: "Wait, Somnacanth's pregnant?!"

Lunagaron: "Yep, she's due in a few months." Malzeno: "That's great news! Congratulations to them!" Garangolm: "Yeah, we should throw them a baby shower or something." Lunagaron: "I like that idea." Malzeno: "Alright, but we need to address the human girlfriend situation first. It's against the rules to date outside of our kind." Lunagaron: "I don't see what the big deal is. We're not hurting anyone." Malzeno: "It's not just about hurting someone. It's about tradition and following our culture." Lunagaron: "Well, maybe it's time for our culture to change. We can't keep living in the past." Garangolm: "I see both sides of the argument, but for now, let's focus on the baby shower." Malzeno: "Fine. But we'll need to talk more about this later, Lunagaron." Lunagaron: "Understood."

Malzeno: "Lunagaron, we need to talk." Lunagaron: "What?" Malzeno: "Garangolm and I have made a decision." Lunagaron: "What is it? Is it a fresh new toy to play with? A new computer?!" Malzeno: "No. We're banning from ever coming to the Citadel again, Lunagaron."

Lunagaron: "What?! Why? What did I do?" Garangolm: "It's about your human girlfriend, Natsuki. It's against our culture and traditions to date outside of our kind." Lunagaron: "But we've been over this! I don't see what harm it does. Natsuki made me happy, and that's all that mattered." Malzeno: "I understand that, Lunagaron. But there are rules that must be followed." Lunagaron: "And what if I refuse to follow them? Will you banish me for good?" Garangolm: "We don't want to banish you, Lunagaron. But if you can't follow the rules, then we may have no choice." Lunagaron: "I can't believe this. I thought you two were my friends." Malzeno: "We are. But we also have a responsibility to our kind. We can't just ignore the rules because it's easier." Lunagaron: "I need some time to think about this." Garangolm: "Take all the time you need, Lunagaron. But remember that our decision won't change."

Lunagaron: "I can't believe that Malzeno and Garangolm kicked me out! I really need something to do..." Lunagaron spots a nearby building. Lunagaron: "Sweet! Now I can enjoy a moment to myself!" Inside the building, Lunagaron sits at a desk - then notices a strange, red book sitting beside him. Lunagaron: "Hey! There's something to read here!" Lunagaron starts reading the book. Lunagaron: "Hmmm...I wonder what's at the last page-" Somebody takes the book away from Lunagaron. Lunagaron: "THE HELL WAS THAT FOR?!" ???: "I can't let you have Portrait of Markov, nor do want anyone to read the last page. But...my, my...your claws could be an excellent addition to my knife collection!" Lunagaron reveals his claws. Lunagaron: "Get away from me, you freak!" Lunagaron slashes at the mysterious person, ultimately gouging out one of the person's eyes and cutting off most of the person's long purple hair. ???: "AAAH! MY EYE!!!" Just then, Natsuki enters the room with another mysterious person - except this one had brown hair and emerald green eyes. Natsuki: "Monika, I think Yuri went this way- OH MY GOD! Yuri, what happened to you!?" Blood comes out of where Yuri's eye used to be.

Monika: "Who did this to you, Yuri?!" Lunagaron: "I did it! And I'll do it again if either of you come any closer!" Natsuki: "Lunagaron, what's wrong with you?" Lunagaron: "What's wrong with me?! What do you think?! I've been kicked out of my home, and now I'm being hunted down like some sort of animal!" Monika: "We don't want to hurt you, Lunagaron. We just want to help Yuri." Lunagaron: "I don't care about your problems! All I care about is my own survival!" Natsuki: "Please, Lunagaron, don't do this." Lunagaron: "You're not going to stop me, Natsuki." Lunagaron lunges at Natsuki, but before he can hurt her, Monika pulls out a gun and shoots Lunagaron in the leg. Lunagaron: "AHHHHH! DAMN IT!" Monika: "Yuri, let's go. We'll get you some medical attention." Natsuki: "Are you going to be okay?" Yuri: "I'll be fine. Let's just go." As they leave, Lunagaron lays on the ground in pain, realizing that he was becoming something he never wanted to be- a monster.

3 months later, at Magnamalo's house, Somnacnath starts to feel cramps in her stomach. Somnacanth: "Magnamalo...I think something's wrong..." Magnamalo: "What is it, honey?" Somnacanth: "I...I don't know...it just happened..." Just then, a small puddle of water starts forming between Somnacanth's legs. Somnacnath: "AAAAAAGH!!!" Magnamalo: "Somnacanth! What's going on?!" Somnacanth: "My water just broke! The baby's coming!! And we don't even have a name for them yet!!!"

Magnamalo: "Okay, okay, don't worry. Just breathe, Somnacanth. I'll get you to the hospital right away." Magnamalo carries Somnacanth to the car, and they quickly drive to the hospital. At the hospital, the doctors immediately take Somnacanth to the delivery room, and Magnamalo waits outside, praying for the safe delivery of their child. After a few agonizing hours, the doctors finally emerge from the delivery room, holding a bundle of blankets. Doctor: "Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Magnamalo. You have a healthy baby boy." Magnamalo: *tears up* "Thank you, doctor. Can I see him?" Doctor: "Of course." The doctor hands Magnamalo the baby boy, and as he cradles his son in his arms, he feels a sense of overwhelming love and protectiveness. Magnamalo: "Hey, little guy. I'm your dad. And I'm going to do everything I can to protect you and make you proud." Somnacanth: *smiling* "He's perfect." Magnamalo: "What should we name him?" Somnacanth: *thinks for a moment* "How about...Kaito?" Magnamalo: "Kaito...it's perfect. Welcome to the world, Kaito Magnamalo."
