My mate and I have been searching for a while now, but we haven't found a suitable location. I'm afraid my offspring won't make it if I don't find a place soon." [player]: "I see. Is that what you're carrying with you?" Female Nyctofly: "Yes, this is my offspring. I carry them with me until they're ready to hatch. I can't leave them unprotected, you know." [player]: "Okay, let me think...I do have a nearby island with a pretty lush forest. It should be a suitable spot for you and your eggs. Follow me." (I led the pregnant Nyctofly to the island, which was only a few minutes away. She was grateful.) Female Nyctofly: "Thank you so much! I can feel that this is a perfect spot for my eggs. I can finally rest easy." [player]: "No problem, I'm glad I could help. Take care of yourself and your little ones." (I watched as the Nyctofly landed on a branch and carefully placed her eggs beneath it. She looked at me and smiled.) Female Nyctofly: "Thank you again, kind stranger. It's not often that one finds compassion in this world." (I smiled back and waved goodbye. It felt nice to help out a creature in need.)
