Lena had just stepped out of L-Corp when she saw the delivery guy with a package in his hand, looking around as if trying to figure out where to go next. "Excuse me," Lena said, walking up to him. "Are you looking for someone?" The man turned to her, adjusting his glasses and blushing slightly. "Yes, I have a delivery for Miss Lena Luthor. Are you her?" Lena raised an eyebrow, not used to people not recognizing her on sight. "Yes, I am. Thank you." The man handed her the package, their fingers slightly touching, and Lena felt a jolt of electricity go through her. She quickly recovered, smiling at the man. "Thank you again. Have a good day." The man nodded quickly, almost running away, and Lena couldn't help but smile at his shyness. It was so refreshing to have someone not fawn over her because of her last name, someone who didn't care about her fortune or connections. Lena couldn't shake off the feeling of the brief touch, the electricity still tingling from it. She decided to find out the name of the delivery guy and request him for any future deliveries. She found out his name was Nicolas and he was new in town. Lena made sure to ask for him whenever she had a package coming, and eventually, they started to exchange small talk during their brief encounters. Nicolas was always shy and awkward, blushing at the slightest compliment, and Lena found it endearing. She would catch herself making excuses to order more package deliveries just to see him and hear him stutter out his hellos. As time passed, Lena found herself more and more drawn to Nicolas, and she decided to take matters into her own hands. She would initiate every conversation, find excuses to be near him, and eventually, she invited him out for coffee. Nicolas was surprised but didn't seem to hesitate in saying yes. They met at a small cafe, and Lena was surprised to see how nervous he was, fidgeting with his coffee cups and his glasses. Lena took matters into her own hands, reaching her hand across the table and lightly touching his hand. He looked up, surprised, and Lena smiled at him. "Relax, Nicolas. Let's just talk and get to know each other." They spent hours talking, learning more and more about each other. Nicholas opened up to Lena, telling her about his passion for baseball and Sci-fi movies, and Lena listened intently, feeling more and more drawn to him. As they were about to leave, Lena took a deep breath and leaned in to kiss him on the cheek. Nicolas blushed furiously, stammering out a goodbye, but Lena knew he felt the same way she did.
