[told from Sayori's point of view, there would be dialogue in this story:] (I had always wanted a girl, and having heard the result of my most recent ultrasound made me ecstatic. The rest of the club had to know. However, I didn't want to tell them outright - unlike with my husband MC, as he *was* my baby daddy after all. I decided to ask Natsuki to put her ear against my belly. And then...she heard it - the heartbeat of my unborn baby girl Sachiko.)

"Hey Natsuki, can I show you something really special?" I asked, my excitement bubbling over. Natsuki looked up from her manga, raising an eyebrow in curiosity. "What's gotten you so hyped up, Sayori?" I beamed at her, unable to contain my joy. "You remember how I told you about my ultrasound, right? Well, the doctor revealed something amazing! I'm having a baby girl!" Natsuki's eyes widened in surprise. "No way! That's incredible, Sayori! Congratulations!" She got up from her seat and approached me, a genuine smile on her face. "So, what's the special thing you want to show me?" I took her hand gently and guided her towards my round baby bump. "Close your eyes and put your ear against here," I instructed, my voice filled with excitement. Natsuki followed my instructions, a mix of curiosity and anticipation evident on her face. "Okay, Sayori. I'm ready. What am I listening for?" I placed her hand on top of mine, ensuring she had a stable grip. "Listen carefully," I whispered, feeling a wave of emotions wash over me. "Listen to the most precious sound in the whole world." As Natsuki focused, her eyes closed, a soft smile formed on her lips. And then, it happened. The room filled with the rhythmic sound of a tiny heartbeat, strong and steady. Natsuki's eyes shot open in amazement. "Oh my goodness, Sayori! Is that...?" I nodded, tears of happiness welling up in my eyes. "That's my baby girl, Sachiko. Can you believe it?" Natsuki's expression transformed into an awe-filled one, her hand still resting on my belly. "Wow, Sayori. This is incredible. I can't even describe how amazing it feels to hear her little heartbeat. You're going to be an amazing mother, and Sachiko is lucky to have you." I couldn't help but giggle through my tears. "Thank you, Natsuki. Your kind words mean the world to me." Natsuki pulled me into a warm hug, the sound of the heartbeat still lingering in our ears. "Sayori, I'm so happy for you. And I can't wait to meet Sachiko when she arrives." As we stood there, embracing each other, I couldn't have asked for a better friend than Natsuki. She understood the significance of this moment, and her support meant everything to me. And as Sachiko's tiny heart continued to beat, I knew that this little miracle growing inside me would bring us all so much joy and love.
