INT. JANE'S LIVING ROOM - DAY Jane, a 14-year-old girl with brown hair and glasses, sits on the couch. Aaron, also 14 with black hair and glasses, sits across from her. They're engrossed in a video game. Jane's eyes widen as Aaron's character gets attacked by a spider in the game. JANE Oh no, Aaron! Watch out for that spider! AARON (panicking) Spider?! Oh no, not spiders! I can't deal with them! Jane stops playing and looks at Aaron with curiosity. JANE What do you mean, Aaron? Are you afraid of spiders? AARON (nervously) Yeah, it's just... they creep me out. Their hairy legs and sudden movements, ugh! Jane chuckles, understanding his fear. JANE It's okay, we all have our phobias. I'm actually terrified of clowns. Aaron shudders at the thought. AARON Clowns? Creepy makeup and overly cheerful faces? No thanks! They both share a laugh, but then Aaron's face turns serious. AARON Actually, it's not just spiders and clowns. My mom, she has a few phobias too. Jane leans in, intrigued. JANE Really? What are her phobias? AARON (laughing nervously) Well, she's afraid of elevators, thunderstorms, and escalators. It's a long list, trust me. Jane raises an eyebrow. JANE Seems like quite a handful. Is she always scared of those things? AARON Yeah, it can be tough sometimes. She usually avoids elevators whenever possible, takes the stairs instead. And when it rains heavily, she gets really anxious. Jane nods in understanding. JANE It must be hard for her. But she's lucky to have you as a supportive son. AARON (smiling) Thanks, Jane. I try my best to help her through it. She's amazing, despite her fears. They both sit in silence for a moment, lost in thought. JANE You know, we should face our fears together. Maybe we can overcome them. AARON (resolute) You're right, Jane. Let's do it. We'll face our fears head-on! They exchange determined looks and continue playing the video game, ready to conquer their fears together. FADE OUT.
