Derek had always been a quiet, unassuming man. He kept to himself, worked hard at his job, and tried to avoid conflict whenever possible. Jake nodded, his eyes glazed over, and Derek led him to the plastic surgery center. Watching from a distance, Derek felt a sense of satisfaction as he saw Jake eagerly sign the consent forms for each surgery required to transform him into a woman. The day of the surgery arrived, and Derek watched as Jake emerged from the operating room, his chest bandaged and his demeanor transformed.
