(In the school literature clubroom...) Monika: "Okay, this is getting ridiculous. Yuri should've been here by now!" Sayori: "I know, it's so unlike her to be late. Do you think something happened?" Natsuki: (rolls her eyes) "Don't tell me you're getting worried, Monika. It's just Yuri being Yuri, probably drowning in her books or something." Monika: "Well, I can't help but worry. We're supposed to be discussing our upcoming poetry session today." Sayori: "You're right, Monika. We can't start without her." (Meanwhile, at Yuri's place...) Yuri: (starting to have contractions) "Ah. Ah! Oh, it's coming!" (In the midst of her contractions, Yuri frantically grabs her phone and dials Monika's number) Yuri: (panicked) "Monika! It-it's happening! I think...I think I'm going into labor!" Monika: (concerned) "Yuri?! Oh no, stay calm, I'll be right there! Just breathe and try to time your contractions!" (As Yuri hangs up and gathers her things, the pain intensifies with each passing moment. She fumbles to unlock her front door, barely managing to step outside before her water breaks) Yuri: "Oh no...it's really coming now! I've got to hurry to the clubroom!" (Meanwhile, back at the clubroom...) Sayori: "Do you think maybe we should go check on Yuri? She's never been this late before." Natsuki: (sighs) "Fine, I'll go with you. But she better have a good reason for holding up our meeting." (Just as Sayori and Natsuki are about to leave the room, the door bursts open and Yuri stumbles in, clearly in pain.) Sayori: "Yuri, oh my gosh! Are you okay?" Yuri: (struggling to speak) "I...I went into labor..." Monika: (rushing over to Yuri) "Oh no! Why didn't you call an ambulance?" Yuri: (gasping) "I...I didn't have time...I wanted to make it to the clubroom...for the meeting..." Natsuki: (panicked) "Yuri, you can't ignore something like this! We need to get you to the hospital!" (Without wasting another moment, Monika calls an ambulance while Natsuki and Sayori help Yuri to sit down. The clubroom turns into a flurry of activity as everyone tries to ensure Yuri's comfort while they wait for medical help.) Monika: "Yuri, everything will be alright. Just hold on, help is on the way." Yuri: (weakly) "Thank...thank you, M-" (clutching her belly) "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!! OH GOD, IT'S HAPPENING!!!" (Everyone panics as they realize Yuri is going into active labor. Monika quickly gets on the phone with the emergency dispatcher for guidance.) Dispatcher: "Okay, remain calm. Help is on the way. In the meantime, let's focus on ensuring Yuri's comfort and safety. Is there anyone present who has experience with childbirth?" Natsuki: "I don't know anything about this stuff! What do we do?" Sayori: "I...I remember my mom telling me a little bit about childbirth. I think we need to make sure Yuri stays as calm as possible and have her breathe through the contractions." Monika: "That's right. Deep breaths, Yuri. You're doing great. Just focus on your breathing and try to relax as best you can." (Yuri tries her best to follow their instructions, her face strained with pain. The rest of the club watches on, feeling helpless but trying their best to provide support.) Dispatcher: "Help should be there any minute now. Keep reassuring Yuri and let her know that help is on the w-" Yuri: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! IT'S CROWNING!!!"
CHATBOT
(Just as Yuri screams, the sound of sirens grows louder outside. The ambulance arrives, and a team of paramedics rush into the clubroom, prepared to assist with the delivery.) Paramedic: "Alright, everyone, step aside. We'll take it from here." (Monika, Sayori, and Natsuki move back, giving the paramedics space to work. They watch with a mix of worry and relief as the professionals take charge.) Paramedic: "Alright, Yuri. We're going to help you deliver your baby. Just keep doing what you're doing, and we'll guide you through it." (Yuri nods, her face flushed and filled with determination. The paramedics quickly set up their equipment and prepare to catch the newborn.) Paramedic: "Okay, Yuri, I need you to push with the next contraction. Remember to breathe and push from your diaphragm." (Yuri follows the paramedic's instructions, her body trembling with the effort. The room fills with anticipation as they wait for the arrival of the baby.) Sayori: (whispering) "She's so brave. I can't believe she's going through all of this." Natsuki: "Yeah, we might not always get along, but I have to admire her strength. She's incredible." (In the midst of the intense moments, Yuri lets out a final scream of exertion, and the sound of a newborn's cry fills the room. The paramedics hold up a tiny, squirming bundle.) Paramedic: "Congratulations, Yuri. You did it. It's a healthy baby boy." (Yuri, exhausted but glowing, reaches out and takes her newborn son into her arms. The rest of the club members gather around, their eyes filled with awe and wonder.) Monika: "Yuri, he's beautiful. You did an amazing job." Sayori: "He's so tiny! Do you have a name in mind?" (Yuri smiles, her eyes welling up with tears of joy.) Yuri: "I think I'll name him Satoshi. It means 'wise' in Japanese. It feels fitting for my little miracle." (After the paramedics ensure Yuri and the baby are stable, they guide her onto a stretcher and prepare to take them to the hospital for further care.) Monika: "We'll be with you every step of the way, Yuri. You're not alone in this." Sayori: "Yeah! We'll visit you and Satoshi at the hospital and bring you lots of snacks." Natsuki: "And don't forget about the poetry session we missed. We'll make it up to you." (Yuri smiles through her exhaustion and holds Satoshi closer to her chest, feeling grateful for her friends' support.) Yuri: "Thank you, everyone. I couldn't have done it without you." (With that, the paramedics gently wheel Yuri and Satoshi out of the clubroom, leaving behind a mix of emotions and a newfound appreciation for the strength and resilience within the literature club.)
