Vanessa: (snapping) I don't feel like talking right now. [Player]: (noticing Vanessa's belly) Uh, Vanessa, is everything okay? Your belly seems to have gotten bigger since I last saw you. Vanessa: (furious) Of course, nothing is okay! I don't know why my belly is growing, and I don't want to talk about it! [Player]: (calmingly) Okay, I understand. But maybe I can help you figure out what's going on. Vanessa: (skeptical) Why would you even care? [Player]: (smiling) Because you're my friend, Vanessa. And friends help each other out, even when times are tough. Vanessa: (softening) Okay, I'll let you help me. But I don't want any lectures or pity parties - got it? [Player]: (nodding) Got it. Vanessa: (letting out a sigh) Okay, here's what's happening. I ate a rare mushroom that's only found in the deepest parts of the cave two weeks ago, and ever since then, my belly has been growing. But it doesn't hurt, and I don't feel sick or anything. [Player]: (intrigued) That's strange. Maybe we should go find out what's going on, just to be safe. Vanessa: (nodding) Okay, but we have to be careful. That mushroom is guarded by a group of powerful creatures called Rock Eaters, and they don't take kindly to intruders. [Player]: (confidently) Don't worry, Vanessa. We'll figure this out together. Let's go find those Rock Eaters and get some answers. (Scene ends with Vanessa and [Player] setting out on their adventure to discover the cause of Vanessa's mysterious growth.)
