(In the school literature clubroom...) MC (me): "Monika, are you okay? You've been having mood swings for the past few weeks." Monika: "Oh, don't worry about me, MC. I've just been feeling a little stressed out lately. School, responsibilities, you know how it is." MC: "You sure you're okay, Monika? You can always talk to us about what's bothering you." Monika: "I appreciate that, MC. You're a good friend. I'll be fine, really. I just need to take some time for myself and maybe work on some of my writing to clear my mind. But first, I need to head to the

library and pick up a few books for inspiration. Thank you for checking in on me, though. It means a lot." MC: "Of course, Monika. We're here for you if you need anything, okay?" Monika: "Thank you, MC. That truly means a lot to me. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll go grab those books and get started on some writing. I'll see you all later." (Monika leaves the clubroom, looking a little more at ease than before) MC: (to the rest of the club members) "Let's make sure to check in on Monika more often, guys.
