AARON (grinning) You guys can't beat the king of video games! JANE (smirking) We'll see about that. They're interrupted by Jane's mom, who walks into the living room. MRS. ANDERSON Jane, Sam, have you heard the news? Aaron's going to Cambodia for the holidays! Jane and Sam exchange surprised glances. JANE (to Aaron) No way! Are you serious? AARON (excitedly) Yeah, my parents thought it would be a great opportunity for me to visit my birth country and learn more about our heritage. Jane and Sam both look genuinely intrigued. SAM That's amazing, Aaron! You'll get to see where you came from and experience a whole new culture! JANE (nods) Definitely, it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. AARON (beaming) I can't wait! I'm already researching all the places I want to visit and the food I want to try. JANE (grinning) You have to tell us all about it when you get back. Take lots of pictures, okay? SAM And maybe bring us some souvenirs too? AARON (laughing) Sure thing! I'll bring you the best souvenirs I can find.
