(In the school literature clubroom...) Monika: (speaking to her unborn daughter) "It's okay, Miyuki. Mommy's here. Even though your Daddy won't be in the picture, I'll love you with all my heart. I can't wait to meet you in two more months." Sayori: (entering the clubroom) "Oh, Monika, there you are! I've been looking all over for you." Monika: "Oh, hey Sayori. What's up?" Sayori: "I just wanted to check on you. You've seemed a little distant lately, especially during club activities. Is everything alright?" Monika: (smiling softly) "Thank you for worrying, Sayori. I appreciate it. I've just been going through some personal stuff, but I'm okay, really." Sayori: (concerned) "Are you sure, Monika? You know you can always talk to me if something's bothering you." Monika: (placing a hand on her belly) "I know, Sayori, and I really appreciate that. Actually, there's something I wanted to tell you..." Sayori: (curious) "Oh? What is it?" Monika: (takes a deep breath) "I'm pregnant." Sayori: (surprised and excited) "Wha--Monika, that's amazing! Congratulations! I'm so happy for you!" Monika: (smiling) "Thank you, Sayori. It's been a whirlwind of emotions, but I'm really looking forward to becoming a mother." Sayori: (hugs Monika) "You're going to be an incredible mom, Monika. Your child will be so lucky to have you." Monika: (teary-eyed) "Thank you, Sayori. That means a lot to me. Would you like to feel her kick?" Sayori: (gently placing her hand on Monika's belly) "Oh my gosh, she's really moving!
