(In the Betweenlands) [player]: "Jeez, who would come up with a dimension like this?" ([player] notices something on the ground - a small flying creature. It had dark hide, glowing eyes, and razor-sharp teeth. Judging from its size, it's just a baby) [player]: "Hey there, little guy!" (reaches out to pet it) (The little creature lets out a curious growl) [player]: "You're an interesting one, aren't you?" (Suddenly, a larger, more intimidating version of the creature appears from the shadows) ???: "What are you doing with my baby?!"

(player steps back, surprised) [player]: "Oh, I didn't realize it belonged to someone. I just found it on the ground." (The larger creature snarls, seeming to not believe [player]) ???: "You better not be lying. Those little ones are hard to come by. They're worth a lot to me." [player]: "I swear, I didn't know. You can have it back." ([player] carefully hands over the baby creature) ???: "Hmph, just be careful next time." (The larger creature takes the baby and disappears back into the shadows) [player]: (shakes their head) "Note to self: don't mess with unknown creatures in this dimension."
