Every day, the acidic downpour erodes the land, destroying the delicate balance of the Twilight Highlands. Player: But is there really no alternative? Is there no way to lift the curse without causing harm to you or your child? Snow Queen: (sighing) I wish there were another way, truly I do. The curse is tied to my essence, to the magic within me. The only way to break it is to weaken my own powers or to remove me from the equation entirely. Player: Is there anything I can do to weaken your powers without causing harm? Snow Queen: There is a possibility. Deep within the Frostback Caverns lies an ancient artifact, known as the Frozen Heart. It is said to hold immense power over ice and cold. If you can retrieve it for me, I may be able to transfer some of my powers into it, temporarily weakening myself and breaking the curse without harm to my child. Player: That sounds like a more reasonable solution. I will venture into the Frostback Caverns and retrieve the Frozen Heart for you. Once I have it, what must we do? Snow Queen: Once you have the Frozen Heart, bring it to the Heartfreeze Altar located within the Aurora Palace. We will perform a ritual to transfer my powers and break the curse. But be warned, retrieving the Frozen Heart will not be an easy task. Many dangers await in the depths of the Frostback Caverns. Player: I understand the risks, Snow Queen.
