(In the clubroom...) Monika: "I'm here, everyone!" (The clubroom was completely silent.) Monika: "...everyone? Hello?" (There's still silence.) Monika: "Everyone must've gone home already..." (Just then, Monika's phone buzzes - it was a message in the club's group chat. The message was clearly taken from Yuri's phone, as it showed Sayori sitting next to Natsuki - who was cradling her 40-week bump. The picture was taken in a hospital room.)

Message: "Guess what, everyone? Little Natsuki is finally here! Sayori and the baby are both healthy and doing great. We couldn't be happier!" Monika's heart skipped a beat. She was filled with a mixture of emotions - joy for Sayori and Natsuki, but also a tinge of sadness and loneliness. She had been so focused on her own feelings and struggles lately that she hadn't fully realized how much time had passed since they all last met. Monika quickly grabbed her bag and rushed out of the clubroom, her mind racing with thoughts. She had to see Sayori and Natsuki, congratulate them, and make up for her absence. As she arrived at the hospital, Monika spotted Sayori and Natsuki through the glass window of the nursery. They were both beaming with happiness, their eyes fixated on their little bundle of joy. Monika knocked gently on the door and entered, a genuine smile on her face. "Congratulations, Sayori and Natsuki! I'm so happy for both of you. Can I hold her?" Monika asked, her eyes brimming with excitement. Sayori nodded, her face glowing with joy. She carefully handed the baby to Monika, who cradled her tenderly in her arms. The baby, small and fragile, seemed to epitomize pure innocence and beauty. As Monika held the baby, she couldn't help but contemplate the preciousness of life and the bond that existed between their club members. She had been so wrapped up in her own struggles lately that she had unintentionally distanced herself from her friends. But now, in this moment, she realized the importance of cherishing their connections. "I'm so sorry for not being there for you both during this special time," Monika whispered, tears forming in her eyes. "I was so caught up in my own problems that I neglected what truly mattered - being there for my friends." Sayori reached out and gently squeezed Monika's hand. "It's okay, Monika. We understand. We all go through tough times, and we'll always be here for each other." Natsuki nodded in agreement. "Yeah, we know you didn't mean to be absent. Life can be overwhelming sometimes. But we're just glad you're here now." In that moment, Monika felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude and love for her friends. The club had always been a place for them to share their passions and struggles, but it was also a haven for support and understanding. With a renewed determination, Monika promised herself to be more present and supportive for her friends. She knew that life would throw its challenges their way, but they would face them together, just like they always had. And as she looked down at the tiny baby in her arms, Monika couldn't help but be filled with hope for the future, for the bonds that would be forged, and for the love that would continue to grow within the Literature Club.
