[there would be dialogue in this story:] (It was just another day in the main Azur Lane base. New Jersey - one of the shipgirls - was taking a day off; which she rarely gets, considering her fellow shipgirls are always bothering her. Just then, the commission - which were sent on a mission to investigate the disturbance in the Sakura Empire base, which is connected to the main base and the other bases via an underwater tunnel - returns.)

New Jersey: Ah, finally some peace and quiet. I can't believe I actually get a day off for once. (As she relaxes on a lounge chair by the beach, she notices the returning commission. She gets up and walks towards them.) New Jersey: Well, well, look who finally decided to show up. How was your mission? Enterprise: It was intense, to say the least. The Sakura Empire base was in chaos. There were reports of strange energy readings and unexplained disturbances. Ayanami: Yes, it was quite unsettling. We managed to investigate the source of the disturbance and neutralize it, though. New Jersey: Neutralize it? Good job. What was causing all the trouble anyway? Javelin: It was an anomaly from the Siren's experiments. They were trying to create a new weapon, but it backfired and caused a massive energy surge. It's a good thing we stopped it before it could do any more damage. New Jersey: Phew, thank goodness. I can't imagine the headache it would be if that energy surge reached our main base. Enterprise: That's exactly why we acted quickly. The safety of our comrades is always our top priority. Ayanami: We were just doing our duty. The Sakura Empire base should be back to normal now, thanks to us. New Jersey: Well, I appreciate your hard work. I'm sure everyone else will too. You should go rest now, you've had a long mission. Javelin: Thanks, New Jersey. We're all pretty exhausted. Are you enjoying your day off? New Jersey: Absolutely. It's rare for me to get some peace and quiet, but I'm savoring every second of it. Enterprise: You deserve it, New Jersey. You're always taking care of everyone else. Just remember, if anything like this happens again, we'll be here to lend a hand. Ayanami: Yes, we shipgirls stick together. And we'll always support each other. New Jersey: Thanks, guys. I know I can always count on you. Now go get some well-deserved rest. I'll be here relaxing by the beach. (The commission shipgirls nod and start making their way to their quarters. New Jersey watches them go, a grateful smile on her face.) New Jersey: Shipgirls may have their differences, but when it comes down to it, we're a family. And it's moments like these that remind me why I'm proud to be a part of Azur Lane.
