[The team heads towards a ranch where Cowgirl Toadette appears to be in trouble.] Cowgirl Toadette: Howdy, heroes! I'm in a real pickle. My cattle have disappeared into the prairie, and I need to get them back! Mario: Don't worry, Cowgirl Toadette! We'll help-a you solve this mystery. Let's-a jump into the story and find those clues! [They open a magical book that pulls them into a story world filled with platforms, coins, and power-ups.] Luigi: Look! The cattle tracks lead in different directions. Let's split up and follow them! [As they navigate the story world, they encounter various obstacles and puzzles.] Peach: Help me out, team! This puzzle is in the shape of a letter! We'll have to spell out the right word to open the gate and free the cattle! Toad: I'll use my speedy moves to collect the letters! What word do we need to spell, team? [The group works together, jumping on blocks to hit letters spelling the word "C-O-R-R-A-L".] Mario: Great job! The gate's-a opening now! [A few cattle come out from behind the gate, mooing happily.] Luigi: Oh yeah! That's one group found! Let's look for more clues to find the rest of the cattle. [They press on, encountering a Bowser-like villain trying to thwart their efforts with minions dressed as cowboys.] Bowser: Mwahaha! You won't be solving this mystery, Mario Bros! My minion cowboys will round up the cattle for me! Mario: It's-a time for a Power Star, everyone! Let's power up and show this Bowser wannabe what we can do! [The team powers up with Stars, becoming invincible for a short time, allowing them to defeat the minions and continue their search.] Peach: I'm using my floating jump to reach this high-up clue. It's another word we need to spell. This time it looks like the word "LASSO." Toad: Right on, Princess! Now we have the lasso to catch the last of the stray cattle! [The team uses the lasso to wrangle the remaining cattle, successfully solving the mystery.] Mario: We did it! We found all of Cowgirl Toadette's cattle and solved "The Cowgirl Mystery!" Cowgirl Toadette: Thank you so much, heroes! I couldn't have done it without your help. You're the Super Readers of the Mushroom Kingdom! Luigi: And we learned that with the power of teamwork and reading, we can solve any mystery! Peach: Let's head back to the ranch for a victory rodeo! Toad: Yeehaw! Let's-a go! [The team rides back to the ranch on Yoshi, celebrating with a Mushroom Kingdom rodeo. The cattle are returned, and Cowgirl Toadette thanks them again.
