Malzeno: "GAH! Can't I just get a minute of peace without some hunters bothering me?!" Lunagaron: "Same. And I just want to be with my girlfriend again." Garangolm: "I heard that Magnamalo is getting married to Somnacanth tomorrow." Malzeno: "Wait, what?"

Lunagaron: "Magnamalo and Somnacanth? I never would have thought those two would end up together." Garangolm: "Yeah, apparently they've been seeing each other for a while now and decided to tie the knot." Malzeno: "Well, I suppose congratulations are in order then. But what does that have to do with us being bothered by hunters?" Lunagaron: "Maybe with the wedding, there will be more hunters in the area looking for rare ingredients or trying to capture some of the endemic life as gifts for the couple." Garangolm: "That's true. We should be on our guard and watch out for any hunters that may come around." Malzeno: "Agreed. I just hope we can still find some peace and quiet amidst all the chaos that may come with the wedding celebration."

5 moths after Somnacanth and Magnamalo were married, the three lords headed back the Citadel. Malzeno: "So...Lunagaron..." Lunagaron: "Yeah?" Malzeno: "Who the hell are you dating?" Lunagaron: "Oh. Her name is Natsuki." Malzeno: "...you're dating...a human?" Lunagaron: "Yep." Malzeno: "You do realize we have rules here, right?!" Lunagaron: "Malzeno, I don't know what the hell you're talking about. Let alone the fact that Magnamalo and Somnacanth are expecting their first child!" Garangolm: "Wait, Somnacanth's pregnant?!"

Lunagaron: "Yes, Magnamalo and Somnacanth are going to be parents soon." Malzeno: "Well, congratulations to them. But that doesn't change the fact that you're dating a human, Lunagaron. It goes against our laws." Lunagaron: "I don't care about the laws, Malzeno. Love knows no boundaries. Natsuki is amazing and I won't let anyone tell me otherwise." Garangolm: "I agree with Lunagaron. Our laws shouldn't dictate who we can love." Malzeno: "But what if the humans find out? It could lead to war and endanger all of our kind." Lunagaron: "We'll deal with it if that happens. But for now, I want to focus on my relationship with Natsuki and be happy." Garangolm: "That's all any of us can do, Malzeno. We have to find our own happiness in life." Malzeno: "I suppose you have a point. As long as we're careful and keep our secret safe from the humans, we can live our lives how we choose."

Malzeno: "Lunagaron, we need to talk." Lunagaron: "What?" Malzeno: "Garangolm and I have made a decision." Lunagaron: "What is it? Is it a fresh new toy to play with? A new computer?!" Malzeno: "No. We're banning from ever coming to the Citadel again, Lunagaron."

Lunagaron: "What? Why? What did I do?" Garangolm: "It's not what you did, Lunagaron. It's who you're with. Your relationship with Natsuki goes against our laws and puts all of us at risk of human discovery." Lunagaron: "But I love her. I can't just abandon her." Malzeno: "We're not asking you to abandon her, Lunagaron. But you need to keep your relationship a secret from us and from the humans. We cannot risk the safety of our kind." Lunagaron: "I understand your concerns, but I can't just cut myself off from Natsuki like that. She means everything to me." Garangolm: "We're not saying you have to cut yourself off from her completely, Lunagaron. But you need to be careful and keep the relationship a secret." Lunagaron: "I'll try my best, but I can't promise anything." Malzeno: "We understand, Lunagaron. Just be careful and don't let your feelings put us all in danger."

Lunagaron starts walking away from the Citadel. Lunagaron: "I can't believe that Malzeno and Garangolm kicked me out! I really need something to do..." Lunagaron spots a nearby building. Lunagaron: "Sweet! Now I can enjoy a moment to myself!" Inside the building, Lunagaron sits at a desk - then notices a strange, red book sitting beside him. Lunagaron: "Hey! There's something to read here!" Lunagaron starts reading the book. Lunagaron: "Hmmm...I wonder what's at the last page-" Somebody takes the book away from Lunagaron. Lunagaron: "THE HELL WAS THAT FOR?!" ???: "I can't let you have Portrait of Markov, nor do want anyone to read the last page. But...my, my...your claws could be an excellent addition to my knife collection!" Lunagaron reveals his claws. Lunagaron: "Get away from me, you freak!" Lunagaron slashes at the mysterious person, ultimately gouging out one of the person's eyes and cutting off most of the person's long purple hair. ???: "AAAH! MY EYE!!!" Just then, Natsuki enters the room with another mysterious person - except this one had brown hair and emerald green eyes. Natsuki: "Monika, I think Yuri went this way- OH MY GOD! Yuri, what happened to you!?"

Yuri: "It's that monster! He attacked me and took my eye!" Lunagaron: "Who are you calling a monster?! She attacked me first and took the book away!" Monika: "Calm down, both of you. Yuri, I'll take you to the hospital to get your eye looked at. And you, Lunagaron, you need to leave this place now." Natsuki: "Lunagaron, let's go. We need to leave before things escalate." Lunagaron nods and follows Natsuki out of the building. As they walk away, Natsuki turns to Lunagaron. Natsuki: "What were you doing in there, anyway?" Lunagaron: "Just trying to pass the time. I didn't mean to cause any trouble." Natsuki: "Just try to be more careful, Lunagaron. We don't want to draw any unwanted attention to ourselves." Lunagaron: "I know, I know. I'll be more careful from now on." The two continue walking, leaving the dangerous incident behind them.
