INT. LOCAL CAFE - DAY The cafe is bustling with the sound of chattering customers. A 14-year-old boy, AARON LING, sits at a table, nervously awaiting the arrival of his girlfriend, CHLOE. Finally, Chloe enters the cafe, her eyes quickly finding Aaron. She walks over, smiling. AARON Hey, Chloe. You made it. CHLOE Of course, silly. Wouldn't miss this for the world. So, what's new? AARON Not much, just the usual... school, homework, hanging out with the gang. CHLOE (smiling) Sounds like fun. Well, guess what? I've been working on a new skill. AARON Oh, really? What is it? CHLOE (whispering) Impersonations. I can do voices of some animated characters. Aaron's eyes widen with excitement. AARON No way! Show me! CHLOE (whispering again) Well, one of them is Coraline. Check this out. Chloe clears her throat, then starts to speak, her voice eerily similar to Coraline's. CHLOE (AS CORALINE) "It's just a random old well. It was here before the house was even built." AARON (laughing) That's incredible! You sound just like her! CHLOE (giggling) Thanks! But there's more. I can also do some other female characters. Aaron looks at Chloe, anticipation brimming on his face. AARON Alright, hit me with another one. CHLOE (sly smile) Well, how about a classic? Ariel from "The Little Mermaid." Chloe takes a deep breath and then starts impersonating Ariel. CHLOE (AS ARIEL) "Flippin' your fins, you don't get too far. Legs are required for jumping, dancing." AARON (laughing again) Wow, you're seriously talented! I can't believe you can do all these voices. CHLOE (smiling) Thanks, Aaron. It's just a fun little hobby of mine. They both sit in silence for a moment, enjoying each other's company. AARON You know, Chloe, you impress me every day. I'm lucky to have you in my life. CHLOE (blushing) And I feel the same way about you, Aaron. You're amazing too. They share a sweet smile, their bond strengthened through their shared interests. FADE OUT.
