(In the school literature clubroom...) MC (me): "Natsuki, what's wrong? You seem...angry. Well, you're always angry, but today you're especially angry." Natsuki: "MC, that's none of your business! Just leave me alone. I don't need your sympathy or anyone else's for that matter." (I watch as Natsuki quickly packs up her things and storms out of the room, slamming the door behind her.) MC: (sighing) "I hope she's okay...I'll have to check on her later." (Sayori approaches me, concern written all over her face.) Sayori: "MC, do you think there's something wrong with Natsuki?" happen during adolescence, especially for girls. Maybe she's just going through a tough time right now. We should try to support her." MC: "Yeah, you're right. I'll go talk to her later and see if she wants to open up about what's been bothering her." (As I make my way to Natsuki's house after school, I can't help but feel a pang of worry for her. When she answers the door, she looks surprised to see me.) Natsuki: "What are you doing here, MC?" MC: "I came to check up on you. You seemed upset earlier, and I wanted to make sure you're okay." Natsuki: (sighing) "I'm fine, MC. Just stressed out about schoolwork and stuff. It's no big deal." MC: "If you ever need to talk about anything, I'm here for you, Natsuki. You don't have to go through things alone." Natsuki: (softening) "Thanks, MC. I appreciate that. Maybe...maybe I do need someone to talk to." (As we sit down and have a heart-to-heart conversation, I realize that Natsuki is just struggling with the pressures of school and family. I promise to support her, and we agree to lean on each other whenever one of us is feeling down.) MC: "We're all here for you, Natsuki. You're not alone, remember that." Natsuki: (smiling) "Thanks, MC. I'm glad to have friends like you." (And with that, our friendship grows stronger as we navigate the ups and downs of adolescence together, supporting each other through the toughest times.)
