A Christmas special featuring Santa is playing, and everyone is excited. BART Hey, Ned, can you believe this? Santa Claus is totally real! NED Well, Bart, actually, I have something to tell you. Santa Claus isn't real. Bart's mouth drops, shocked by Ned's revelation. BART What? But... but why would you say that? Ned hesitates, not wanting to shatter Bart's innocence. NED Bart, religion is something deeply personal, and I think it's important to have faith. Trust me; it's what keeps me going. Bart, rebellious and unfazed, leaves the room, determined to prove Ned wrong. INT. BART'S ROOM - DAY Bart sits at his computer and discovers the popular animation software, GoAnimate. Intrigued, he starts using it to make videos involving Ned and his depressed state. BART (VO) Ha! Let's see how Ned likes being the one who's down and out! INT. NED'S HOUSE - DAY Ned is seen in his living room, wearing pajamas, with unkempt hair and an unshaven face. He has clearly fallen into a deep depression due to Bart's comment. NED Why, Lord? Why have you forsaken me? Maude's picture sits beside him, and he clutches it tightly, hoping for answers. INT. HOMER'S HOUSE - DAY Homer, unaware of Ned's state, enjoys a casual drink on the couch while watching an old TV show. TV ANNOUNCER Depressed? Lost hope in the world? Call the one and only Manic Moe, your personal happiness guru! Homer stares at the TV, a spark of realization in his eyes. HOMER That's it! Moe is just the man Ned needs! INT. MOE'S TAVERN - DAY Homer bursts into Moe's Tavern, excited to share his newfound revelation. HOMER Moe! You gotta help my neighbor, Ned Flanders! He's depressed, and he needs your expertise in making people happy! Moe looks confused but intrigued. MOE Well, that's a new one, but I'll give it a shot, I guess. INT. NED'S HOUSE - DAY Homer and Moe enter Ned's living room, finding him still consumed by sadness. HOMER Ned, I brought someone who can help you! Ned looks at Moe, unsure of what to expect. NED Homer, I appreciate your concern, but I'm not sure how anyone can help. Moe pulls out his guitar and starts performing an upbeat and cheerful song. MOE (singing) When life feels down in a pit, Just grab a drink and never quit! Moe's the guy with the secret to bliss, Come on, Ned, give happiness a twist! Slowly, Ned begins nodding along to the music, a faint smile forming on his face. EXT. SIMPSONS HOUSE - DAY The family gathers outside, having seen Moe's special performance through the window. They watch with joy as Ned, Homer, and Moe come out of the house laughing and happy. Bart approaches Ned, feeling remorseful. BART Ned, I'm sorry for what I said. I may not believe in God, but I believe in you. Ned embraces Bart, looking grateful and assured. NED Thank you, Bart. And remember, even if we have different beliefs, we can always respect and support each other. The family shares a heartwarming moment, reaffirming their bond amidst their differences. FADE OUT.
