INT. JANE'S LIVING ROOM - DAY Jane, Sam, Ruby, and Aaron are sitting on the couch, playing video games and eating snacks, when Sam's younger sister, LILY (10), bounces into the room. LILY Hey, guys! What's up? JANE Hey, Lily! Just hanging out and having some fun. LILY Cool! Can I play too? RUBY (smiling) Sure, Lily! You can join us. Just grab a controller. Lily grabs a controller and sits next to Ruby. She looks at Ruby's necklace, confused. LILY Why are you wearing that thing, Ruby? It's weird. RUBY (not offended) Oh, this is a Star of David necklace. I'm Jewish, Lily. LILY (scrunches her nose) Jewish? What does that mean? RUBY It means I follow the Jewish religion, Lily. We have different traditions and holidays. Lily looks even more perplexed. LILY So, you're not Christian like us? RUBY No, Lily. Jewish people have their own faith, just like Christians have theirs. AARON (chiming in) Yeah, Lily, it's all about diversity and respecting each other's beliefs and traditions. JANE (nods) Aaron's right. It's important to embrace and celebrate our differences. Sam, sensing Lily's confusion, steps in. SAM Lily, being different is what makes the world interesting. We can learn so much from each other's cultures and backgrounds. LILY (thinking) Oh, okay. I get it now. Sorry if I offended you, Ruby. RUBY (smiling) No worries, Lily! It's all about learning and understanding one another. They all continue playing the game, this time with Lily joining in the fun and asking more questions about Ruby's faith. FADE OUT.
