([player] stirs, waking up from being carried into the hive) JADE: (to the soldier) Ah, you brought an outsider into our hive. (to [player]) What is your purpose here, outsider? [PLAYER]: (surprised) Uh, I was just sleeping in the jungle when I was carried in by a Myrmex. I didn't mean to intrude. JADE: (considers for a moment) Very well, we will allow you to stay for a time. But first, you must prove yourself to our hive. ([player] nods) JADE: Our hive has five different castes: workers, soldiers, sentinels, royals, and the queen. Each has its own responsibilities, and each is essential to our survival. JADE: Follow me, [player]. I will show you the inner workings of our hive. (Jade leads [player] through the hive, showing them the different castes at work) JADE: (pointing to workers) These are our workers. They gather food and maintain our hive. JADE: (pointing to soldiers) These are our soldiers. They protect our hive and go out to conquer new territory. JADE: (pointing to sentinels) These are our sentinels. They keep watch over our hive and prevent any threats. JADE: (nodding towards herself) And I am the queen, responsible for leading our hive to prosperity. JADE: (gesturing to her belly) And soon, little Emerald will take my place as the future queen. ([player] watches, fascinated) JADE: (turning to [player]) Now, it is time for you to prove yourself. Can you help gather food for our hive? [PLAYER]: (eagerly) Of course! I'll do my best. JADE: (smiling) Very good, outsider. Welcome to our hive.
