(Scene starts with Jane and Ruby playing video games in Jane's room) Jane: "This is so much fun! I can't believe we've been playing all day." Ruby: "Yeah, it's been awesome. Hey, do you have any snacks?" Jane: "I think there are some pretzels in the kitchen. (pauses) Hey, Ruby, can I ask you something?" Ruby: "Sure, what's up?" Jane: "I feel like there's something different about you. Like, you're not just a regular person. Am I crazy?" Ruby: (pauses) "I guess I have a confession to make. I'm not exactly human." Jane: "What do you mean? Are you like a robot or something?" Ruby: "No, I'm different. You see, I'm a car." Jane: (confused) "A car? As in a vehicle?" Ruby: "Yeah, that's right. I've been in this form for a while now, and I'm still trying to figure out how it happened. I know it's kind of weird, but I hope you can still be my friend." Jane: (pauses, takes a deep breath) "Of course I'll still be your friend, Ruby. I know for a fact that I've never had a car for a friend before." Ruby: "Thanks, Jane. You're the best. Just don't tell anyone else about this, okay? It's kind of a secret." Jane: "Don't worry, your secret is safe with me. But I have to ask... can you drive?" Ruby: "Actually, I can. Do you want to go for a ride?" Jane: (laughs) "Absolutely!"
